While working from home, Rachel would often find herself getting an afternoon drink at Bold Bean on Stockton St. Her barista Ryan would memorize her name and drink order after a few visits. Over the next couple of months, Rachel and Ryan would pass each other at the cafe and around town. Funnily enough, it took a super like from Ryan on Tinder to start a conversation, and they had their first date in Avondale.

On a weekend trip to Chicago to visit some friends, Ryan planned to propose on their vacation. The day started with brunch, and they explored the neighborhood's film shops, breweries, and bookstores. Making their way to Humboldt Park in Logan Square, Ryan and Rachel took some film shots of each other around the flowers and lakes. Near the swan paddle boats while posed for a picture, Ryan got on one knee and Rachel said "Yes!" We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Jacksonville!
