On a cold day in early January of 2014, Trevor Fulton and Alexis Robbins were at a callback for the Winter 2014 stage productions at the University of Denver. Trevor only saw the small red heart tattoo on the back of Lexie's neck and was instantly intrigued. They read a scene together from Charles L. Mee's play, "Big Love" that wintry night and sparks, as they say, flew. They started officially dating on September 13th, 2014 after Lexie realized how patient and caring Trevor was despite the complete insanity she exhibited while waiting for the cast list for DU's production of Chekov's "The Seagull" to be posted. She ended up being cast as Arkadina, the role she wanted. The two have been inseparable ever since, and in May of 2025, they were surprised (happily so) to learn of the impending arrival of their daughter in January of 2026. After a loving (yet mildly threatening) text from Lexie's dad to Trevor, the two have been lovingly encouraged to officially tie the knot before their baby girl is earthside. A couple with little interest in tradition and doing things "according to plan/as expected" this short and unexpected time frame has encouraged them to have the nuptials of their dreams at their humble abode on All Hallows' Eve—the perfect day for this delightfully dramatic and macabre pair.
