Charleston: Historic City Haunts

As one of America's first cities, Charleston holds a colorful history and some believe it to be one of the most haunted cities in the world. Enthusiastic tour guides can give you a historic overview of the city via walking tour or carriage ride and share some of its most famous ghost stories. For those who spook easily, they also offer traditional historic walking and carriage tours which are Spencer and Lexie's favorite ways to learn about and explore the antebellum city. Historic highlights of Charleston include a myriad of beautiful churches, the historic city market, the old exchange and provost dungeon, Ft. Sumter, as well as several other historic sites.

Shem Creek and Surrounding Beaches: Soak Up the Sun for Some R&R

Shem Creek is where you will find Spencer and Lexie when they are in town, likely sharing an ice cold refreshment over some oysters with friends and family. Shem Creek is home to several restaurants and bars on the water that often have live music, which makes for a great day on the waterside. You will often spot dolphins on the creek as many fishing boats dock here. We recommend a meal or happy hour here, and if time allows, paddleboards and kayaks are for rent or a sunset cruise on the Palmetto Breeze never disappoints. Nearby beaches include Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms, which also have their own restaurants, bars and related activities.
