FAQs

The Wedding Website of Lexie Boor and Spencer Carella
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Black Tie Formal - men in tuxedos or dark suits, opt for something more tailored and elevated; women in floor length or midi formal dresses. Please save Halloween costumes for the after party and keep colors to a neutral palette. :)

Question

Where do we stay?

Answer

Please refer to the "things to do" page where we have recommended a few of our favorite hotels in downtown Charleston. If you wish to stay closer to Tony and Sue's house on Daniel Island (parents of the bride) or are interested in AirBnB/VRBO, please contact Lexie for recommendations and potential lodging discounts.

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 25, 2026.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring their children, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Are phones allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

Phone and mobile device free ceremony: We respectfully request that all guests refrain from using their mobile devices and be present with us during the ceremony.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be indoors in St. Claire of Assisi Church with the cocktail hour outside and reception also outside, but in a covered, tented space. We anticipate beautiful weather as fall in the Lowcountry is typically mild and dry. The weather should be fairly warm with the average high/low for October in the 70s/mid 50s - we would recommend a shawl/light coat for later in the night during the reception.

Question

I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?

Answer

Please feel free to contact Lexie or Spencer directly.
