What do I say to a group of people who have seen me at my best and worst? My name is Alexandria (Lexie) Bartlett and I am the bride, duh! First and foremost: I am so happy to be able to have someone like Justin in my life, as he is the calm to my storm and Lord knows there have been plenty of storms. However, he isn’t the only one to help me get through some gloomy days. My friends and family are all from the area and roughly a 15 minute drive from one another…a good and bad thing: holidays and special occasions are fairly easy to coordinate and we see each other often but we see each other TOO often and know the perfect ways to push each others buttons. Everyone on my side knows I can get a *little* anxious and, allegedly, a little Type A but they still love through it all and will only talk smack after the fact. Anyway, consider this an “I love you all so much and thank you for being a part of my life and couldn’t imagine this day without you” or whatever, not like I care or anything.

Well, I can't believe we're here. One minute you're asking a girl her number and name and within a blink of an eye you're wanting to spend the rest of your life with her and putting a shiny rock on her finger. With that being said, I am so happy I get to spend this day with y'all and with the woman I truly love. I was born in Mississippi and raised in Texas, being the only child to two Filipino parents. I grew up playing baseball for a lot of my younger years. Most of my days were filled with watching Lord of the Rings with my parents, which provided me my sense of imagination and what a hero, and true love, should look like (I am really just asking myself 'what would Aragorn do?' and be like him). I hope this wedding feeds into your sense of adventure as it does to me and Lexie, she really worked hard to make this a weekend to remember, so go a little easy on her. I love each and every one of you as y'all have been so important to developing who I am today, and I hope I continue to make y'all proud in the coming years.
