Maid of Honor
Zoe is my little sister and without a doubt will be the best Maid of Honor I could ask for! Having a sister six years younger than me meant that I always had a little shadow when I was in middle school and high school. You could often times find her hiding on the basement staircase trying to eavesdrop on many of my sleep overs. I have a feeling that has given her a lot of material to use for her Maid of Honor speech!
Best Man
Lucas is my older brother. I have great memories throughout my life with him. He has been an excellent role model to me from childhood, throughout college, and beyond. I could not ask for a better brother and best man.
Matron of Honor
Amber and I's paths crossed my last year of college when she was my cooperating teacher during student teaching. She quickly became a best friend to me and it truly feels like I have known her forever. She is more than just the ultimate work bestie, but a friend I can go to for anything. If you can't find me in my classroom, it's safe to assume I am in Amber's. I love our friendship and I'm so happy that she is a part of Josh and I's big day!
Groomsman
I met Tyler at K-State the second half of freshman year and as time grew and I got to know him, we turned out to become best friends. One of the most tenacious people I know, Tyler knows how to have a great time and I look forward to him coming from Texas to help us celebrate.
Bridesmaid
I met Abby in college and she is one of my sorority sisters from Alpha Xi Delta. We lived together for 3 out of our 4 years of college. We also had literally every class together for our last two years of college. We would spend every waking moment together and not get tired of each other. She is like a sister to me! From living in our sorority house, to me moving to KC and living at home with her for half a year, some of my favorite memories were made with her. She is one amazing pal!
Groomsman
I also met Dan while at K-State. I always enjoyed trying to convince Dan to go out on Tuesday nights with Tyler while we lived in Lambda Chi. This brilliant teacher of today's youth and I also share a mutual interest in the worlds greatest soccer club, F.C. Bayern. Dan is an aspiring professor, his favorite color is green, and he is VERY single.
Bridesmaid
Lizzy is my longest friend and I am so happy that our friendship has remained so strong throughout the years. We met in elementary school and remained best friends despite going to different high schools and different colleges. Now we live 20 minutes away from each other in KC and we still never turn down an opportunity to karaoke. 14 years later, we still perform the absolute best karaoke version of Goodbye Earl.
Groomsman
I met Joe in college as well. An alumni of St. Thomas Acquinas, Joe pursued his passion of raving "like really really hard". I have always wanted to join him on one of these adventures but remember that I cannot stay awake until 3 A.M. for days on end. Joe's world class music taste makes him a great addition to any party. Joe also has a passion for large speakers, much bigger than you would normally need given the space or people present.
Bridesmaid
Alex and I have been friends since we met at church in elementary school. We made so many memories in the same church that I will walk down the aisle in! My favorite thing about Alex is the fact that she doesn't let anything stand between her and a good time. I don't know anyone else quite like Alex, she always has a way of making things work for her. Want to get backstage or a get VIP pass at a concert? Alex is your girl. She has the ability to make herself fit right in, in any setting. She is truly the life of every party.
Groomsman
Mihailo (Misha) Ilich, son of Dragon Ilich. Descending from the eastern European country of Serbia (2nd generation). He and I were best friends in high school and have remained such today. Not the best golfer in the world, we are always glad to play a competitive match together and have a good time in the process.
Bridesmaid
Haley is one of my sorority sisters from college. She suffered through many evening classes with me and she could almost always talk me into going to the Ville on Thursday nights. She now lives in Dallas, but whenever we see each other, we pick back up where we left off like no time has passed! Nowadays, we spend entirely way too much time sharing teaching stories with each other. I am so excited that she is going to be a part of all of the wedding fun!
Groomsman
Cade and I were next door neighbors for all of our childhood. We share many memories playing outdoors, playing PS2 in our basements and traveling with our families for vacations. Cade is like a second brother to me, just not from the same mom.
Bridesmaid
Rachel is also one of my sorority sisters from college. We have so many fun Alpha Xi memories together! There is never a dull moment when you're with Rachel. She has a such a big heart and would do anything for her friends. Also, in college she was basically my personal hair stylist and my go to girl when I needed my hair curled. I don't think I can ever truly repay her for the hours she spent curling my thick hair or the amount of hairspray she used on me. I miss living in the same town as Rachel so much, and am patiently waiting for the day when she comes back to KC!
Groomsman
Miles and I met at K-State, this past president of Lambda Chi and I spent many times discussing exhilarating topics such as taxation and economics while we were getting our masters degrees in accounting. His home features many leather bound books and smells of rich mahogany.
