Maid of Honor
Jenna is my younger sister by 10 years. We have not always been close due to our age gap, but as we get older we get closer and closer. I am now a loving aunt to her adorable dog, Rocky. Jenna is stubborn (like our Nana), trustworthy, and loving to the core. She makes me one proud sister and I couldn’t pick someone better to be my maid of honor!

Taite and I have been friends since ~3rd grade and best friends since high school. Taite is the Beavis to my Butthead and she is always down to get into some mischief or fall asleep with me at 8PM. Some of my favorite memories with Taite including streaking at Wright State (sorry mom), taking random camping/concert trips with just the two of us, and exposing bad ex-boyfriends. Taite is one of my most reliable, honest, and caring friends!

Cara and I have been friends since ~5th grade. We became extremely close in high school and even more so in college even though we went to different universities. Some of my favorite memories with Cara include our Spring Break cruise, Nashville, and Out R Inn dance parties. I can always rely on Cara for a positive attitude, lots of love, a carefree/fun time, and to her advantage, not mine—lots of snuggles.

Cadie and I have been friends since ~5th grade and became best friends in high school. Cadie and her husband, Clay, introduced Clint and I and us four have been inseparable since. Some of my favorite memories with Cadie include countless lake trips, 11Fest in Athens, working out at her dad’s gym (“John’s gym”), and our “low key” nights. I can always count on Cadie for plenty of laughs, honesty, and motivation to work hard as she is one of the hardest workers I know!

I met Kandis my freshman year at THE Ohio State University when we lived on the same floor in good ole’ Park-Stradley. After our freshman year, Kandis, Shelby, and I lived together the rest of our time at OSU and have remained close since. Some of my favorite memories with Kandis include our spring break trips (including staying with Kandis’ grandparents who were some of my favorite people ever and our epic Spring Break Cruise), our Napa trip (which will now be a tradition), and Ohio State tailgates with the Sargeant fam. Kandis is loyal, trustworthy, and we share equal levels of second-hand embarrassment.

Shelby and I also met our freshman year of college as she and Kandis were roommates in Park-Stradley. We then lived together in an off-campus apartment our last three years at OSU! Some of my favorite memories with Shelby include Mirror Lake jump (SOLDIER DOWN!!), spring breaks, our Napa trip, and sharing all the latest health advice. Shelby is spunky, organized, and hard working. If you happen to be in Charleston during my Bachelorette party, Shelby will be the one with the karaoke microphone auctioning off Kandis to the highest eligible southern bachelor.

Abby and I have been friends since Kindergarten and will probably be friends until the day we die. We have the type of friendship where we don’t need to talk everyday or even every month, but we always know we are there for each other and can be comfortable with each other no matter what. Due to how long we’ve known each other, my memories with Abby are unmeasurable but some of my favorites include her family being my second family growing up, sliding down coal mine hills in WV, and playing Low by Flo Rida on repeat back in the day. Abby is reliable, loving, and though she is quiet she holds her own like no one else!

LeeAnn and I became friends through our significant others but now I think we are almost closer than they are. LeeAnn and I have a ton in common and instantly bonded over being the sleepy moms of the group. Some of my favorite memories with LeeAnn include countless lake trips, “low key” nights, and training for running events that she somehow talked me into. LeeAnn is caring, level headed, and a great listener and I can’t wait for her to stand by me on my big day!

Brytan and I have been friends since high school and became even closer in our adult years. Brytan and I bonded over our love for all things Barstool, working out, and sarcasm/weird humor. Some of my favorite memories with Brytan include listening to Truth Hurts by Lizzo on repeat until we knew ever word (LeeAnn too!), basketball and softball seasons in high school, and countless lake trips (including doing deadlifts w/ coolers). I can always rely on Brytan to be honest but kind, laid-back, and to provide a good time without any drama.

Lauren and I have known each other since junior high and high school when we played club volleyball together. We then reconnected years later as we both went to graduate school at Marshall University, lived together there, and then became speech-language pathologists. Lauren has been my SLP mentor/go-to resource, favorite venting partner about all things work and life, and has become one of my closest friends in the last few years. I can always rely on Lauren for at least a 30 minute phone call once, but not limited to, every day of the week (sorry Paul and Clint!), motivation to be better in all aspects of life, and passion for success like no one else I know!

Katie is Clint’s older sister and has been welcoming to me since day 1. She gave birth to the two cutest nieces (and flower girls!), Ada Jane and Emily Kate. I know Clint and I would be able to count on Katie and her husband, Caleb, for anything and I’m thankful for Katie’s calm, laid-back, and easy going demeanor. I can’t wait to join the Roush family and have Katie by my side on our wedding day.

Lance and Lexie grew up together....from 6th grade when Lance moved to Adena, through high school, through Ohio State University, until now. He has always been a God-centered, honest, and trustworthy friend to Lexie and she couldn’t think of someone better to officiate her wedding. Lance and Clint have become friends over the years after Lexie introduced them. They share a mutual love of boating, bourbon, and investments. We can’t thank Lance enough and are so thankful for our friendship with him and his wife, Mackenna!
