We’re getting married!

We are both from the same small hometown (Frankfort, OH) and K-12 school (Adena). Due to our five year age difference, however, we did not truly meet and interact until after I (Lexie) graduated high school. I was recently out of a relationship, as was Clint, and I don’t think either of us were expecting to start a new relationship so soon. Clint and I have several mutual friends and one of his best friends, Clay, and one of my best friends, Cadie, were at the time dating (they are now married!). Cadie and Clay brought us together one night and after that, all bets were off. We spent the summer together and then I was off to my freshman year of college at THE Ohio State University and Clint was moving two hours away to start a new job in agriculture. We were at different points in our lives and after a year of being together, unfortunately separated. Two years later, we ran into each other, both somehow single again, and things just seemed to pick up where they left off. I was going into my senior year at OSU and Clint had started his own business and was back in Frankfort. We remained long distance for three more years after getting back together in 2015 until I finally finished graduate school and moved back to good ole Frankfort as well. We had been together almost 5 years (6 total) when Clint proposed on his brand new boat in February 2020. Our story has been filled with too many laughs to count, concerts, world travel, outdoor adventures, four fur babies, moving in together, and unforgetable time spent with friends and family. We can’t wait to continue our story with our wedding and a lifetime together.
