Whether she’s planning a trip, reading, baking something from scratch, driving like she's in a getaway car, or navigating life with her signature mix of determination and chaotic grace, Lexi is always on the move. She may not always know exactly where she's going (Stephen has notes), but she somehow always gets there, even if the path there is sometimes a winding one. Above all else, Lexi believes in doing things with meaning, in creating moments that matter, and in loving fully—whether it's her people, her pets, or this unforgettable day.

Stephen is the calm to Lexi’s color-coded storm. As a vet tech, he’s steady under pressure and always ten steps ahead—efficient, focused, and endlessly patient. He’s an exceptional listener, particularly when Lexi has a story to tell (which is often). He may not always say what he’s thinking, but his face has been known to silently critique a questionable parking job from across the lot. When he’s not working, he’s either lifting weights at the gym, cooking a nice steak dinner, or pampering their dogs like the spoiled children they are. Stephen is a connoisseur of the finer things and believes in living a life of small luxuries—whether it’s divulging in a glass of wine, preparing a gourmet meal, or enjoying the peaceful therapy of cleaning his car.

Lexi met Lauren in freshman year of high school where they shared several classes and spontaneous adventures that were—let's be honest—thinly veiled excuses to take cool pictures. A fellow Aquarius (born just two days apart), Lauren is the creative soul who always knows the best hidden trails, sunset spots, and scenic overlooks—with her favorite spots being South Mountain or anywhere in Oak Creek Canyon. She brings creativity into every corner of her life--whether she's journaling, making wire wrapped or beaded jewelry, or creating incredibly intricate and colorful art. Through every chapter in their decade long friendship, she's been Lexi's go-to for advice, perspective, and unconditional support.
Ryan Warbington

Stephen and Ryan met about two years ago at work, where they bonded quickly as fellow vet techs, and the ball kept rolling from there. From playing with fire to running up the down escalator at the mall, they have been a dynamic duo ever since. He's known for his charisma, quick wit, high energy, and occasionally encouraging the antics Lexi tries (and fails) to stop. Taking a break from the chaos, Ryan is a loyal friend of Stephen's. He has been a big supporter since the time they met, creating many memories and countless laughs along the way. As best man, he'll be keeping everyone on their toes and making sure the good times are never in short supply.

Lexi met Charli about four years ago where they worked together as vet techs where Charli quickly proved she had a passion for surgery—particularly the kind that involves removing reproductive organs. She is rarely seen without her partner-in-crime Izabella, and together they're a dynamic duo that keeps things interesting. A devoted Harry Potter fan (her dogs' names say it all), Charli is incredibly thoughtful, fiercely loyal, and the best hype woman Lexi could ask for. While she may seem shy at first, don't be fooled: once you get to know her (or see her with a drink in her hand), she lives the life of a main character.
Schuyler Burns

Schuyler (pronounced "Skyler") is a veterinarian, Stephen's gym bro, and the person we've entrusted to officiate our elopement ceremony. Equal parts assertive and empathetic, he has a unique ability to both take charge and make you feel heard—sometimes all in one conversation. He's never met a conversation he couldn't keep going, a patient he didn't care about, or a mountain biking trail he didn't want to take at full speed. Stephen met Schuyler at work about two years ago and quickly found a friend to lift weights and talk cars with. Whether he's running trails, or guiding furry patients through surgery, he brings intention and empathy to everything he does.
Iza Bohn

Izabella (more commonly known as Iza) has worked alongside Lexi for the last four years, and in that time has mastered the art of handling difficult clients and somehow still shows up with a sense of humor intact. She and Lexi share a friendship with lots of sarcastic banter (most conversations start with "What do you want?" and somehow end in laughter). Iza is a Marvel and horror enthusiast, the go-to host for group hangouts, and a proud mom to three cats and more ferrets than Lexi can reasonably count. As a fellow Slytherin, she brings just the right balance of sharp humor, loyalty, and knows how to be just mischievous enough to keep things interesting.
Ji Kang

Ji is a veterinarian, Lego builder, movie buff, and a dog dad to his chihuahua, Roo. He actually worked with Lexi first, picking up shifts like a hero when her clinic was short staffed—earning instant MVP status. These days, he's a core member of Stephen's gym group chat (equal part gains and equal part memes) and always the first to offer his home-cooked meal prep to a hungry friend. Don't be intimidated by how hulk-like he is; Ji is compassionate and quietly hilarious, the kind of guy who makes everyone around him feel cared for—whether with a kind word, a Marvel ranking, or some shepherd's pie. From filling in at Lexi's clinic to standing beside Stephen, Ji's loyalty and kindness haven't gone unnoticed.
Taylor Mollenhour

Taylor and Lexi became fast friends in high school, where they ran track and cross country together and she's been part of Lexi and Stephen's story since the very beginning. Taylor is endlessly charismatic and full of energy, and no matter how long it's been, time always picks up right where it left off. Their friendship was built on long runs, creative adventures, and shared laughs—often fueled by late night runs through the Taco Bell drive-thru for baja blast freezes and listening to Blackbear on repeat. Taylor has always found a way to make things funs, while Lexi kept them on course. She's currently pursuing a path in the dental field while juggling a busy life with her usual grace.
Will Apple

Will and Stephen go way back; like Coach Dunn’s basketball camp way back (IYKYK). They have both been into basketball, as well as many other sports. Will is also a big fan of football (the real kind) and F1; quiz him if you dare. Alongside his knowledge of sports is his wisdom in the fashion world. Don’t take it personal if he out-dresses you; just know it’s just another walk in the park for him. Cars have also been a bonding point for the pair, from RWD, FWD, AWD, N/A, S/C, T/C, and everything in between (don’t ask, girls). Aside from all of this, Will is an awesome guy; someone who you can pick up a conversation with no matter how much time has passed, someone who is loyal, and someone who has made an important mark in Stephen’s life. Just don’t step on the shoes, he might not be so nice then.

Trina entered Lexi's life two years ago at work and they instantly connected over their similarly ADHD wired brains and mutual love of Hozier, Noah Kahan, and other artists whose music makes it seem like they're crying in the rain--when in reality they are just driving to work or reading a good book. Outside of being a talented veterinarian, you can find Trina baking dangerously good desserts, crafting cocktails that could knock you off your feet, or designing stunning nail art from home. She's fiercely passionate, unapologetically creative, and always ready to stand up for what she believes in. Basically, she does it all—and does it while making it look effortless.
Brandon Quacken

Brandon and Stephen started working together at Barro's Pizza some years ago, and have been friends ever since. They initially bonded over music, always on top of every new release that came out. Brandon shares the same passion for fashion (bar?) with Stephen, and is always steppin' out in something fresh. He's an avid car enthusiast as well, particularly Formula 1, a fan of a number of anime series, and a follower of many sports teams. Aside from his interests and hobbies, Brandon is a reliable and trustworthy friend. He is someone who will always have your back, but can always find a way to have a good laugh with you.
