This is a very important thing to be aware of, please read the following blog: https://www.telluride-rentals.com/insider-knowledge/adjusting-to-altitude-symptoms-tips-and-myths/ The town of Telluride is situated at 8,750 feet. Mountain Village is even higher with accommodations between 9,400-10,000 feet. This means there is 30% less oxygen in the air in Telluride than at sea level. We recommend staying hydrated. Even before you leave home, be sure to drink lots of water! Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) should also help. Please call the Telluride Medical Center, (970) 728-3848 if you are worried about your symptoms. It is important to not ignore any of these symptoms.
