Like plenty of others before them....Sarah and Lex got connected on a dating app back in May 2021. Sarah and Lex got to meet in person for the first time when she was invited to ultimately crash guys night at Seven Sirens Brewing Co. in Bethlehem. After a night of fun drinks, shuffleboard, and mostly talking to now close friend (Ricky) and future brother in law (Cole) Sarah found herself eager to see Lex again for their first official date at Two Rivers in Easton. Thus beginning the tradition of weekly Wednesday date night, which Sarah and Lex kept up consistently for almost two years! That first summer was filled with friends and family, getting to know each other, surviving Sarah's solo trip out west, and Lex surviving the "seeing each other" phase, which finally came to an end when the two made things official on July 29, 2021. And the rest...is history :) Sarah and Lex have built a beautiful life together with their shared passions for outdoor adventures, music, movies, theater, and their three fur babies Smoky, Scooby & Shaggy.

If you've spent enough time with Sarah & Lex you certainly know how well the two pair together, and likely shared with them the knowledge that there was no doubt the two would be together for life. You also likely know how much Sarah nagged Lex about getting married for at least a year leading up to the actual proposal... But it was so worth the wait! On a Tuesday in late April, Sarah pitched the idea of some outdoor activities for the upcoming weekend with promising warm weather. The details of which she left up to Lex to determine, unknowingly playing right into his hand to set up the perfect proposal. So while Sarah was busy at school, Lex was busy making calls and plans to secure the day and make sure all would run smoothly. Lex had determined that Sunday would be the nicer of the two days, so of course he planned for the two to go hiking together! When Sunday morning rolled around all was well as the two made their way to the Lehigh Gap, hoping to enjoy the day and recreate a comical photo of Sarah. After the steep climb for the first part of the hike, the sighting of a "strange man" (who turned out to be Lex's cousin Jackson there to capture the moment) ahead on the trail, the two finally made it to the overlook where Lex and previously captured an unflattering photo of Sarah in January 2022. Pausing to retake the photo and catch their breath allowed Lex to gather himself and get down on one knee, asking Sarah to spend the rest of their lives together. Of course, she said yes!
