Matron of Honor
I met Kacey when Daniel and Blake (Kacey's husband) reconnected a few years ago. We quickly bonded over working in health care and attending the boys' basketball games. Kacey is someone I look up to - she is an amazing friend, wife and now mom and I reach out to her for advice often. I can't imagine this day without her!
Best Man
JT has to be the most selfless person you'll ever meet. He's the type of person who would give you his oxygen mask if yours was faulty. It's safe to say he's the glue of the Lew family the way he cares for others, takes responsibility, and not to mention his ability to grill things to perfection. I'm truly lucky to have JT as an older brother who has always looked out for my best interest, despite how resistant or difficult I was. He's always challenged me and pushed me to be the best version of myself. It means the world to have him by my side on one of the most exciting days of my life. - Daniel

Amanda and I met at work and quickly became friends, bonding over everything we had to deal with at work to loving to read all the same books/watch the same movies. Amanda is the kindest soul and I know I can go to her for anything. Amanda and I got engaged a week apart from each other and it has been so much fun planning our weddings together and I can't wait to be standing next to each other for each other's weddings!
Best Man
I'm forever grateful for Matthew's forgiveness and/or short-term memory. Transparently, I used to bully Matthew when we were younger where some examples may or may not include blocking his shots while playing basketball, convincing him playing tackle football in the living room was a good idea (7 year age difference), and beating him in NBA 2K. Fast forward to now, he's someone I share countless inside jokes that no one else understands, can occasionally read each other's minds, call weekly if not daily during fantasy football season, and is one of my closest friends. I trust him with pretty much anything except when he convinced me not to draft Nico Collins before his breakout season. I'm excited to have you up there with me on the big day (and thank you for forgiving me)! - Daniel
Bridesmaid
Maddie has been there for all of Daniel and I's friendship/relationship and I can't imagine getting married without her up there with me! She is the sweetest and most caring person and I'm lucky to call her my friend.
Groomsman
Blake and Daniel "played" Middle School Basketball together (watched Hugh play while they were on the bench) and went to HS together. After going to college in different states, they reconnected at Watershed (a country music festival) and through adult league basketball. Blake has witnessed Daniel drain a step back three then immediately collapse to the floor in agonizing pain like he tore his achilles only to find out he was just cramping up in his calf. Blake puts up with Daniel's dramatic moments, is selfless, and caring. His weaknesses only include awkward silences.
Bridesmaid
Priya and I met in high school and we've been friends ever since! Priya is one of the funniest and kindest people I know. She brings joy and laughter wherever she goes and I'm incredibly lucky to have her in my life and by my side on the day of the wedding!

As cliché as it sounds, Hugh has been there for all the highs and the many lows (more lows than anyone should have to witness). He's seen every chapter of Daniel coming back from a 28-3 deficit in his pursuit of Ali. Behind all the jokes, he’s loyal, caring, brutally honest, but still kind of a softy. Fun fact: They coached a 5th grade basketball team together to a perfect 0 wins and 8 losses season, where it's important to note the team lost a game 50-5 and separately, lost the last game of the season to a 3rd grade team. To this day, we deny that this had anything to do with the coaching staff.
Bridesmaid
Divya came up to me the first week of swim practice freshmen year of high school and the rest is history! Divya is someone I can always rely on and talk to about anything. We've had a few late night talks about what our future weddings/husbands would be like and I'm grateful to have her by my side for mine and Daniel's wedding!
Groomsman
Andrew and Daniel worked together for the University of Washington Football video team. He may not know this, but Andrew was Daniel's very first true friend he made at the University of Washington. Andrew invited Daniel on a road trip to watch Oregon vs. UW at Autzen Stadium with a couple of his friends, Bella and Katie. Despite Peyton Henry (the UW kicker) breaking their hearts, it was the beginning of a lifelong friendship between the 4 of them. Andrew definitely brings the life to any party however, he's kind, thoughtful, and absolutely hilarious.
Bridesmaid
Kaitlyn and I met walking home from school in second grade and she's been stuck with me since then! We have gone from eating popsicles in my parents garage after school to big life mile stones together, and I can't imagine this day without her!

The alternate YMCA love story is between JJ and Daniel. They met in a YMCA basement "learning" how to process memberships, give facility tours, and how to "listen first" (JJ is still learning this skill to this day if you ask his fiancé Maddie). They began to hang out outside of work and the rest is history. When he's not kicking trash cans or knocking over lime scooters for sport, he's thoughtful, softhearted, and makes sure everyone has a drink in their hand (alcoholic preferred but non-alcoholic is acceptable).
