We're Getting Married!

Ali and Daniel’s love story began at the YMCA of Greater Seattle. A place known for building community, developing leaders, and apparently… yearslong romantic tension. Daniel was interested in Ali for years. Ali, on the other hand, was interested in… being very clear they were just friends. (Or at least mostly clear. There may have been some mixed signals. For character development.) After many brave attempts and many graceful rejections, Ali finally agreed to go on a date with Daniel. Turns out timing was not great. So, they did the mature thing and stayed “just friends”. Fast forward through college, life, growth, and a bit more emotional intelligence…somehow, they found their way back to each other. Turns out, timing really is everything. This time, the date worked. And then another. And then suddenly they were inseparable. After years of friendship, persistence, reconnection, and proof that second chances are real, Ali and Daniel are getting married. 💍 Moral of the story: Never give up, unless someone explicitly tells you to (Daniel ignored this advice just enough), and always trust that the YMCA might secretly be a matchmaking service.
