What is the dress code?
Answer
The dress code for both the ceremony and reception is cocktail attire. For the ladies, anything from cocktail dresses to midi or maxis, LBDs, & dressy jumpsuits is fabulous! For the gentlemen, dark jackets with slacks or any suit with or without a tie/bowtie of your choice is perfect! Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors, however the cocktail hour will be outside and primarily on grass.

This is an adults-only event. Call your favorite sitter or family member because we'd love for you to enjoy a night out just you two!

How far is the reception from the ceremony?
Answer
The reception venue is in Downtown Phoenix and roughly 15 minutes from the cathedral! We will be taking photos with our wedding party in between events so you have plenty of time to mingle, freshen up and drive to the next location.

What is the parking situation?
Answer
Holy Trinity has plenty of parking available in their lot for the ceremony. At the reception, The Dauz has a small lot and is surrounded by free street parking. If needed, they also partner with a church down the street to use their lot for overflow. Please keep in mind no cars can be left overnight in The Dauz parking lot. The best option and our biggest recommendation is taking an Uber or Lyft if you plan on enjoying our open bar!

What should I expect during the ceremony?
Answer
We will be having a traditional, Greek Orthodox ceremony in the cathedral. Built in 1973 with beautiful paintings and faceted glass windows, it is the oldest Greek Orthodox Church in Arizona. This is the same church that Mike's parents got married in 36 years ago! The traditional ceremony itself dates back to the 4th and 5th centuries and will last roughly 45 minutes.
