Important Time-Sensitive note regarding Accommodations on Seabrook Island

While there are hotel options available, the most convenient and cost-effective way to book accommodations seems to be getting a group together to book an on-property house on airbnb or through the rental companies (most popular being Sandpiper and Palmaway). There is a sense of urgency that is necessary with this option, because Seabrook Island is a popular vacation destination and many of these homes book up about a year in advance (this is why your save the dates have been delivered to you so early). The wedding coordinator on Seabrook Island told us that it would be safest to have on-property accommodations claimed by June 1, 2026. We have provided links below, but also please contact Alex or Katie if you need help or have questions. We're happy to connect you with other guests who are invited to make a big group for a house, or help you find somewhere to stay. We have saved a ton of stuff and are happy to help! If you're going to choose a Hotel Option, there is less of a sense of urgency required.

Sandpiper Vacation Rentals

This is a rental company on the island. It's the company we used to book the house we will be staying in. Sometimes their properties are also listed on Airbnb or VRBO, but you can also book them directly through Sandpiper. Just make sure it's Sandpiper in South Carolina, because there's also a company in Florida with the same name. It is important to read the description and make sure it mentions something about having access to Seabrook Island amenities. Most of the time it mentions an "amenity card," or something about being on-property with access to the beach club/golf/etc. Sometimes it will list addresses as "John's Island" or "Kiawah," so you need to read the description to see if you have Seabrook Island Club access. (for reference: Our house we are staying in is technically a John's Island address, but it is within Seabrook Gates.)

This is one of the vacation rental companies on the island that was recommended to us by the Seabrook Island Wedding Coordinator.

Charleston Kiawah Island/Andell Inn

This is the closest hotel to the venue. It is about a 10 minute drive away. It is NOT within the Seabrook Island Club gates, so you would not have access to the amenities on the island without being escorted by an on-property guest. You will also need your own transportation to the venue from this location, whether that be Uber, Lyft or car rental.

Mills House Charleston, Curio Collection by Hilton

This is a pink hotel in the heart of downtown Charleston. Admittedly it is pretty far from the venue (about an hour drive + traffic), but if you're looking for a place to stay that is quintessentially Charleston, this would be a good spot! You will also need your own transportation from this location!

Rental Car

Turo.com

Turo is an app kind of like airbnb where people rent out their cars to people. In our experience it is a little bit easier than a traditional rental car company. A rental car is not necessary by any means, but we think it will be extremely helpful to those not staying on property, as transportation to Seabrook will not be provided from off-property locations.
