What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail attire. A suit or dress shirt with a tie is suggested. Mid or knee length dresses are also welcome.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided. A shuttle bus will be provided to take guests from the hotel to the reception venue and back to the hotel at the end of the reception. See the travel page for more shuttle information. *Please note that no cars may be left at Haue Valley overnight following the reception.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors.

What is the best airport to use?

Answer

St. Louis Lambert Internation Airport (STL) is the closest airport. Ride shares such as Uber or Lyft are recommended transport to the hotel. Car rentals are also available at the airport.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a buffet style dinner with a choice of entree. There will be gluten free options available.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception, however, we do recommend bringing cash or a credit card along if you plan to attend the after-party, as drinks after the reception will not be covered.

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can find our complete wedding registry here on our website (and purchase directly from our wish list) under the "Registry" tab.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 20 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space and find a seat.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be approximately a 2-hour gap between the end of the ceremony and the beginning of the cocktail hour.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos at our wedding ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day. During the reception, feel free to snap pics throughout the evening to help us capture our special day!

Are kids allowed at the ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

We politely request no children attend the ceremony and reception. Thank you in advance for understanding!
