Semi-formal attire please - with fascinators or hats for the ladies, if you like! For the women, we recommend block heels since they'll be grass and gravel. For the men, kilts are welcome if you're brave enough!
Our wedding ceremony is planned to be outdoors in the Rose Garden, but dinner (AKA "wedding breakfast") will be inside the castle and our reception will be in a covered tent (or marquee, since we're in Scotland).

Yes! See the Travel page for our recommendations - since we're in the Scottish Borders, rooms can be limited, so reach out if you are looking for alternative (and convenient) accommodations.
You'll need converters for all plugs / chargers. Beware: the voltage in the UK is different than the US and will fry your hair tools!
If you are staying onsite at the castle, you're welcome to explore the grounds or take a tour with us on Thursday at ~1 pm. If you're staying offsite, many of the castle rooms will be open for exploring during the drinks reception, as well as the grounds before and after the ceremony.
