We first met... at the University of South Carolina (go cocks!), when Ali was a sophomore and Lewis was a freshman. Both Lewis and Ali were members of a sports business fraternity at USC and interacted only when Lewis was picking up his function T-shirts from Ali's apartment (she was the design chair for the fraternity). We started dating after... spending the summer as roommates (only roommates, ask our third roommate Danny!) where all three of us were interns across Atlanta. We spent weekends going to Braves games, country concerts, and shooting the Hooch. Our college years included... football games at Willy B, Lewis picking up Ali from the bars, and Saturday mornings at Soda City eating Mary's Arepas. Then Ali graduated, Lewis left to study abroad, and COVID hit. When we're not at home in Atlanta, we... have been dubbed "world travelers" - making appearances in the UK, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Ireland and even France (ask Lewis how much he loves France!). Lewis has weathered his way through countless European itineraries, jam-packed weekend trips, and an endless number of flights before the sun comes up... :) Lewis proposed... on a weekend trip back to South Carolina, where we were meeting two of Ali's closest friends from college (and their significant others) for a football game at Willy B. He barely touched his Mary's Arepa (see above for the reference) and nervously walked through the Horseshoe before Ali's friends tricked her into recreating a photo from college and Lewis snuck behind them to drop to one knee. A bystander yelled "is that really happening?!" (which is also what Ali was thinking after months of Lewis throwing her off the trail...). They made a few stops on campus to reminisce on the old days, and stopped to show Cocky the new bling! Since Ali said "Yes!", we've... virtually toured a dozen wedding venues, built a mean wedding spreadsheet (obviously), meticulously researched overseas wedding vendors, celebrated sibling graduations, friend and family weddings, went on a few European vacations and bought a house!
