Nikki and Chris met on a Dating App... and here we are.

A month before the proposal Chris asked me (Nikki) if we could have the 18th of every month be date night. The 18th was when we had our first date so it has become a special number for us. Little did I know, this was primarily so I would clear my schedule for April 18th. With the help of friends, I got my nails done and cancelled my clients the evening on the 18th. I never suspected a thing. The night of the proposal Chris took me on a replica of our first date, starting with dinner then to a bar for games and drinks. As we walked from dinner towards the bar Chris stopped... He got down on one knee at the spot where we had our first kiss and asked me to marry him. While I always thought I would be a crier, turns out I screamed "Are you serious?! Are you serious?!" in progressively higher tones. Obviously I then said yes! We then proceeded down the street to the bar where we had drinks on our first date, where several family members and friends were there to celebrate us. It was the perfect proposal for us and Chris absolutely nailed it. I felt so incredibly loved and can't thank everyone who contributed to that day enough. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Hawaii!
