As we have multiple events planned throughout the week, it would be best to arrive no later than Monday, June 2nd 2025. The quickest way to Santorini will be flying to Athens & catching a connecting flight or ferry to Santorini. You can also fly into cities like London or Paris & get a direct flight to Santorini after enjoying some time in those cities.

Island Transportation
Please be aware that Uber/Lyft does not exist on the island, and the number of taxis is extremely limited. Fares can often surge to 75 euros for a one way trip based on demand. Because of this, we will be providing transportation to and from our Welcome Party & Ceremony / Reception to select locations on the island where the majority of our guests will be staying. It is important to let us know where your hotel is so we can plan accordingly. Once we have a comprehensive list, we will update the site with the finalized transportation schedule. In addition to the taxis around the island, Santorini has a well-established bus system. Tickets cannot be purchased in advance and are cash only (fares are 2 euro as of June 2024). You also have the option to hire a private driver to bring you to and from your destinations. Please let us know if you are interested in this option, and we can inquire with our wedding planner for recommendations.

After doing some research, we learned that hotel blocks in Santorini are not a thing like how they are in the United States. Most of the hotels are boutique properties with limited rooms. We recommend staying in Oia, Fira, or Imerovigli. If you have a large group to travel with, you may want to book an AirBnB or villa on the island. These can often accommodate 8-12 guests per property. We have compiled a list of potential hotels below that you are free to book on your own, but if you need assistance with travel arrangements & accommodation, we have partnered with a travel agent to assist you (see more below). Please note that you are not required to stay at the hotels listed below - you are free to stay anywhere on the island. These hotels will be closest to the provided transportation to and from the Welcome Party, Ceremony, and Reception. The entire island takes approximately 40 minutes to traverse, so you will never be far from our festivities, sightseeing, and activities.
