Levi and Sarah are throwing a casual party to bring together family and friends in a backyard celebration focused on quality time, silly activities, and enjoying the outdoors. There will be a band, caterer providing food for a block of time, and activities spaced throughout including a bicycle relay race, bonfire, and cookie bake-off!
Children are very much invited to all events and will have child-focused (not child-exclusive!) activities in which to partake (eg bouncy house, fishing, remote control boats, silly petting zoo).
Yes! We are asking all attendees who want to showcase their baking prowess - or lack thereof - to bring 1-2 dozen cookies to share. There will be a ranked choice voting style competition to identify 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners who will each win a prize!
We will provide some non-alcoholic drinks at the Saturday party (eg seltzers, water, etc). You are welcome to bring your alcohol of choice to any event. You are also responsible for organizing safe transport to and from the party. Please drink responsibly <3
We are not asking for physical gifts. We appreciate the sentiment, but we actively do not need more things <3 If you would like to gift money for our honeymoon adventure, that would be lovely. We will donate a percentage of monetary gifts to a local or national charity. - How to gift: TBD - Honeymoon plans: TBD - Charity: TBD Updated February 2026.
Peter Bourne will be our host. See the "Schedule" to locate his address. There will be on-site field parking, a covered tent area, a pond, and a large field. Port-a-potties will be provided. Peeing on a tree is also fine in designated areas.
The tent company should be setting up the tent, tables, and chairs. HOWEVER, we'd love some assistance at the Friday gathering to set-up some items like the band's stage, lighting, etc. Also, some assistance cleaning up during Sunday's mini-brunch would be greatly appreciated.
Yes. Well done. There will be bugs of many varieties and we will be at the whim of Mother Nature in terms of sun, rain, and temperature. The bonfire and tent should assist with part of those concerns, but please dress and come prepared accordingly :)
