FAQs

Please see below for some FAQs about our wedding. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
Question

What attire is expected?

Answer

The most important thing to us is that you're comfortable. Please dress in casual attire: button down shirts or polos and summer sundresses or a skirt or pants with a nice blouse. No suits or tuxes required!

Question

Is the ceremony outdoors?

Answer

Yes! Weather permitting, our ceremony will be held outdoors on the grass behind the main building at Rick's Place. The ceremony remain outdoors unless it is raining, even if it's cold, so please plan accordingly.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Of course! We know you love your little ones, and we do too. Please feel free to bring them along, but please note on your RSVP how many children will be in attendance.

Question

Where are we registered?

Answer

Your presence is gift enough, but if you are feeling particularly generous, we are registered here on Zola. You can access the registry at the "Registry" tab at the top of the page. Gifts that are purchased will be shipped directly to Cassie's house, and Zola covers the shipping. If you prefer to bring a physical gift to the wedding, feel free to do so.

Question

What if I cannot make it?

Answer

We are sad that you cannot make it to our wedding, but we definitely understand! Please RSVP by March 18th, so we can have an accurate head count. Also, please leave your email on your RSVP, either here on our website or on the paper RSVP included in your invitation, to receive the info for our ceremony live stream. Also! If you find yourself out in California this fall, we will be having a second reception out in San Diego in the fall of this year. More details about this to come!

Question

Any other info?

Answer

We all know things have been anything but normal this past year, so we are excited to be able to celebrate with you all. That being said please see below for general info on our wedding setup. If you feel more comfortable please wear a mask, but they will not be required unless local regulations change. Dinner will be served buffet style, and our caterer is following CDC guidelines for serving food. There will be an open bar and dance floor if you choose to partake. We understand that everyone's comfort level with larger gatherings right now varies, and we understand if you are uncomfortable attending the ceremony and/or reception. We will be providing a live video stream of the ceremony for those who wish to not attend in person. Please provide your email in the RSVP for more details. We kindly ask that you do not attend the ceremony or reception if you: have a fever, are feeling sick, or have been exposed to COVID-19 in the 14 days prior our ceremony.

Question

What if something about the wedding changes?

Answer

If something needs to change about the main details of our wedding, we will post an update on the home page of our website. If you provided your email on the RSVP, we will also send an update to you via email.
