Emily and Tyler met Samantha in NYC as roommates for 3 years. From navigating the concrete jungle to adopting our cats, Samantha has been with us for it all.

Emily and Ally originally ran into each other at Rhode Island Hospital when Ally was born! Sisterhood brings a built-in best friend, and growing up, Emily and Ally made it count. From Lego Star Wars to their bonkers home-made movies, they have made incredible memories to last a lifetime.

Alyssa is Tyler's younger sister, and now Emily's soon-to-be sister-in-law! Alyssa and Emily bond over their mutual love of crafts and their appreciation for small animals.

Tyler and Robert originally met in late elementary school and became good friends through band in middle school. Especially in middle school, bass clarinet and tuba play very similar parts, so they could bond over their low notes. This evolved into hanging out every day throughout high school and continuing the friendship into adulthood.

Tyler and Bryan's friendship goes way back to when their ages were only single digits. Following each other through all of their schools through high school, their bond of course increased through band class. Yet another low instrument with the bari sax, they bonded with their similar parts.
Duncan Hurst

As a fellow tubist, Duncan is credited for introducing Emily and Tyler to each other! Emily and Duncan met in the Van Meter dorm at UMass and became fast friends. Tyler came along the next year, joining the same studio as Duncan, thus entangling the three of us into friendship.

Sam and Tyler met attending The Orchestra Now program, sitting directly next to each other on a weekly basis. Unlike most sections, the two of them always sat in the same seats and really learned to work together as a team. With their mutual interest in hiking, finding excursions for their off time, and their constant talk about orchestral auditions, this evolved into a great friendship.
