Multnomah Falls
Incredible waterfall views with scenic lookout at the top. A great stopping point between the airport and Hood River. Parking requires a $2 permit that can be easily reserved online beforehand (the parking lot fills up, especially in the summer!)
Hood River Fruit Loop
A beautiful, scenic 35 mile drive that leads you to 30+ farm stands with fresh fruit, U-picks, wine, cider and more! Some of our favorite stops include The Gorge White House, Fox Tail Cider, Draper Girls, and Mt View Orchards. Check out the map on the website!
Beacon Rock State Park
About a 30 min drive from Hood River, Beacon Rock is a 1.5 mile out-and-back trail that leads you to the top of a basalt pillar with incredible views of the Columbia River Gorge.

One of our favorite stops when we visit Hood River. Excellent food and delicious beer and right on the waterfront!
Mount Hood Railroad
We have yet to visit this popular attraction but have heard good things about both the train and the railbikes! The summer train has stops along the Fruit Loop.
