Bride
LeCKie, it’s not a play on luCKy because it’s by blessings that these ladies have been a part of my life. Most of them like Conner I think. (written by Conner)
Groom
This is the nickname that no-one actually uses...maybe that's a good thing. Introducing below: the other "till death due us parts" in my life, all the guys who have helped me build my faith. Their bios are worth a read!
Matron of Honor
Samantha has been my number one for longer than I can remember. I never had a friend like her until we met. She is compassionate, kind, and wise. She has taught me so much about myself and about God through our friendship. We can spend hours together and then not even know what we did the entire time we're together. We just get each other and I think that is a rare and special connection that I am so blessed to have with her. We are the same kind of weird which always adds some spice. Sam was the first one to introduce me to Conner :) There will always be a special place in my heart for my Hamantha...
Groomsman
Known as my "bundle of love", Philip Francis Milton Henry is one of 4 members of my high-school squad. After spending many hours on various beds with one another over the years (just talking, you pervert), and having zero issue with prolonged eye contact, Philip has proven to be a lifelong buddy who has the tolerance for all my goofs.
Bridesmaid
Morgan is my sister but also one of my best friends. We have more memories together than probably anyone else on earth. We understand each other in ways I think only sisters can, like fighting and then going to get food after. She is always there for me when I need advice or someone to complain to. Whenever we're together we always end up laughing until she has an asthma attack or I throw up
Groomsman
BrendAn is a flavorful member of my high-school gang, who owns a cheesy but memorable sense of humor. Our friendship has flourished under our likeness in spontaneity, and he's here to dance miles around a kitchen island with you when it's most needed.
Bridesmaid
Kalli and I have been friends since high school and have grown so much together in our friendship, and we always joke that Kalli and I are the most alike out of all of our friends. She is always there to have a deep theological conversation, listen to some new music, and drink wine. What more could a girl need? She's adventurous and kind, and always there to listen and encourage me. She is also the mother to my first nephew Moose, a Russell Terrier.
Groomsman
Flashback to two kindergartners meeting on the playground, flashback to my first play-date, yep, Jason was there for it. The 4th member of the high-school crew, has stuck around as a faithful friend in my life since we were little booger eaters. From obnoxious yelling about camping to getting mooned on a pontoon...there's been some sick times.
Bridesmaid
Shay has known me since before I was even born! We have just gotten closer as time has gone on, especially being in Laramie together. We have watched countless movies in her bed together, eaten a lot of Wendy's, and talked about every topic you can imagine. She's the life of the party and she always knows how to make me laugh. She's my horse girl forever.
Groomsman
Carson is a Texan from Nebraska who is a Wyomingite posing as a greenie in Colorado. We had a fly fishing date 4 years ago and it was meant to be every since. From snow-shoeing shirtless in blizzards to the pickle shack (again, not weird, you pervert) to absolutely anything else, he just "gets" me.
Bridesmaid
Megan and I met many years ago at a dreamlike place called Camp Bethel. We bonded in our cabin together that summer and kept in touch ever since! Being together in Laramie has brought us even closer. She's always there with a listening ear and pointing me back to Christ. She introduced me to warmies, makes bread, and listens to Christian rap with me so shes pretty qualified as a bridesmaid.
Groomsman
One of my first college roommates and a fellow Campus Ventures alumni, Brady makes good room for God in his life but also for the "boys". A wealth of similar experiences in life has made us close. He's one I can count on to have a good evening of baking muffins together but also in being the glue that holds our group of friends tight.
Bridesmaid
I've known Kylie since I was in junior high but we became close friends while I was in high school. We grew up going to youth group together, going on missions, and having way too long coffee dates. Conner and Kylie actually became friends before I even met Conner and got really close too, which makes it even more special to have her stand with us.
Groomsman
Remember my mustache? Well, Zech is holding on to it until I want it back. After a summer in Denver and quality time doing campus ministry together, he's a man I can count on. Although our humor sometimes ends up on the edge of honoring Ephesians 4:29, we usually remember what that verse says and pipe it down.
Groomsman
Daniel is a friend of both Lexie and I! Having done youth group with and knowing Lexie in Gillette years before meeting me (Conner). It was a great day when he approved of me as her guy. A man of great humor and unmatched hospitality, Daniel's someone I have no doubts about continuing to be a faithful friend to us as individuals and as a couple.
