I almost pre-widowed Lexie when we went up here together...but otherwise it's some fun bouldering and if you're real granola take up some climbing gear! Careful not to come back with scraped up knees if you hit up the rocks themselves. One of our highest scenic recommendations for the area.
Laramie River Greenbelt Trail
Not feeling crazy adventurous? At least take a walk around the Laramie River Greenbelt. Kudos to the railroad for planting a bunch of trees to account for chemically contaminated soil. But that was years ago, now its green and peaceful.
Downtown Laramie
From Big Dipper Ice Cream to the iconic walking bridge to expensive steaks and stuff. It's all downtown.
The Plains Lakes
If you like fishing or wind this is the place for you. Lexie went spontaneously swimming here once, I think.
Ames Monument
A random pyramid near the interstate, Conner's family used to have a geocache up here.
Medicine Bow Peak
The highest peak in Southern Wyoming, prepare for some snow if you go. It's honestly pretty out of the way but if you're an "out of the way" kind of person...do your thing!
Geological Museum
You like bones? Ok, then. Go to this place. One of my favorite wonders as a kid, I was crazy about the Apatosaurus.
