Have more questions? If you don’t find the answer here, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Ricky or Jamie directly. We know traveling to a new city can bring a few extra details to figure out, and we’re more than happy to help however we can!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP for all events no later than December 28, 2025

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. We kindly recommend arriving about 30 minutes early to enjoy a welcome drink, find your seat, and get settled before the festivities begin. Guests arriving after the ceremony has started will be asked to wait until the processional is complete before entering, so arriving early ensures you don’t miss a moment!

Question

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

We weren’t able to secure a room block due to the busy holiday weekend, but the good news is there are plenty of great options nearby! All downtown hotels are within 10 minutes of the venue, and we also highly recommend checking out AirBnB's in the Arlington Park district for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Question

Is there transportation for the wedding?

Answer

Since our guests are staying in different locations, a traditional shuttle didn’t make the most sense. Instead, your chariot for the night will be… an Uber! We’ll be providing vouchers so you can focus on celebrating (and not on parking or driving). We recommend downloading the Uber app in advance if you don’t already have it. Stay tuned, the voucher details will be included in your formal invitations!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate the guests formally listed on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus-one, you’ll see them included under your name when you RSVP. We so appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding itself will be an adults-only celebration (with the exception of immediate family). Think of it as a well-deserved Valentine’s date night — no sippy cups, just champagne flutes! That said, we hope you will ALL join us for the full weekend of fun — kids (and their awesome caretakers!) are more than welcome at the welcome party and the day-after beach party. With a brand new playground and plenty of beach fun, there will be lots to keep them entertained!

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. After enjoying the sunset over the bay, the celebration will move indoors for dinner and dancing!

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional. We’d love for our guests to dress to impress! Tuxedos or dark suits with ties are preferred for the gentlemen, while gowns or floor-length dresses are encouraged for the ladies. With the sunset as our backdrop, feel free to embrace soft, romantic tones that reflect the warmth and beauty of the evening. Think elegant, elevated, and sunset-inspired as we celebrate under the Valentine’s Day sky. That said, this is simply a suggestion—please wear whatever makes you feel your best and most confident to dance the night away!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! If you’re driving or renting a car, there’s plenty of parking available in front of the venue. You’re also welcome to leave your car overnight if you’d like to Uber home and retrieve it the next day — campus security will be keeping a watchful eye.
