This is where we had our first date and fell in love! Re-live the experience and grab a bottle of wine and sit in our booth where we had our engagement photos done! It's an Urban Winery with a funky, chill tap room offering housemade reds, whites & roses & community events. UPDATE: They recently moved so not exactly our first date spot but you can still catch the vibes.
Renovated houses turned into bungalow bars reign supreme on this increasingly popular tucked-away street. Day or night, you’ll find relaxed bar-goers strolling from bar to food trailer to bar again, often with their dogs in tow looking for a kicked back sip and a bite. We spend a lot of our Sundays here (at least we used to) another must and great for people watching.
ok, so this may be the best BBQ you'll ever have HOWEVER, you're going to have to wait in line and get there early, like 5 hours before they open early. If you have the time go for it. Pro tip: grab some breakfast tacos, a pack of cards, and a cooler full of beer to keep you occupied while you wait.
So you're in Texas and you're thinking I HAVE to get some BBQ but goodness I don't want to wait in line at Franklin's. This place is great for two reason, the BBQ is fantastic and there's usually not a line and not sold out.
Matt, we're on vacation, why would we go see a movie? Well because this place is an experience in of itself and they have a full menu complete with booze! Pro tip, get the Royale With Cheese and an Electric Jellyfish IPA
