My early 20s felt like an awkward hair cut phase. If you’ve cut your hair and desired it to grow back, you can relate to that season! It’s perceived to be uneven, messy weird & the most ugliest season. Khalifa has loved me through that! She’s been there to witness my metamorphosis; my highs, my lows, my in between, my weirdest, and most ugliest seasons yet managed not judge me. She has quite a few friends but has the supernatural ability to make each of us feel like we’re the only one! I’ll forever be grateful for our friendship, to have her in my midst and as my maid of honor!

If you ever needed someone that’ll have your back 1000%, it’ll be Tanel Panton! I note him as “The Man With a Plan”. God has used him to speak life into me on many occasions that I will never forget. Postponing this wedding wasn’t apart of the initial plan, but I’m grateful with this adjustment, Tanel is be able to accompany me as my best man. Truly a brother from another mother.

Jodi my Jodi, has been my right hand gyal straight through high school. If you saw Jodi, you’d see Letiesha! If I bobbed, she weaved! It’s so crazy how much time has flied after high school but every time we meet up, it feels like we’ve never missed a beat! It wouldn’t be right, if I’m not able to share my monumental moments with her! Near, far wherever she is I don’t plan to on doing so!

This brother right here has been my right hand man for most of my life. From the 90s and until now , we both share the same passion in music. Our friendship has been able to withstand trying times. If grace was a person it would be Okema! I’ve always admired her grace and poise from a far! I’m so grateful that God allowed us to break the grounds while we praise danced and continued our friendship outside of ministry. Okema too, has been in my life prior to my transition in Christ and has managed to love me the same along the way. It’s been so beautiful to see what we’ve grown to. Like personal fountains ready to pour into each other on dry days.

Kurt is indeed a special individual in my life. Whenever I need a good laugh, he’s the man. I’ve never had a childhood friend growing up, but Kurt has definitely filled that void. One thing Kurt never failed to mention when I was dating was “Make sure it’s God’s will.” And with me seeking God’s will for my life, I know our friendship is definitely in alignment.

Once the ground crack, all I can say is it gave earthquake! Once the earthquake erupted, we’ve crossed over into another level of friendship! I’m not sure what the wall was, guarding us from being our best. But I’m so grateful it came tumbling down! Tasha is the epitome of a super woman, super mom, and still appears to be super beat everytime we link up! Im truly in awe of this beautiful friendship God had stored up for me. And I can’t wait to see all that remains in store for us!
