When should I RSVP by?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, dress code is semi-formal. This means comfortable fabrics like linen or cotton, lighter colors, and styles that are easy to move around in are all great choice. Think of tailored attire like dress pants with a button-down shirt and a blazer or sport coat that can be removed if needed. For women, knee-length dresses, sundresses, or flowy maxi dresses are all good choices. We are sure you will look fabulous!

Is there an external guest policy if I decide to stay at a different resort?

Answer

EXTERNAL GUESTS POLICY External guests will have to pay a different fee for attending the wedding of $175.00 per person. Their entrance will be permitted 1 hour before event starts and they will need to depart 1 hour after event ends. External guests must leave ID at Concierge desk for registration. If external guests would like to stay later than time allowed, there is an extra charge made of $99.00 per person, plus the fee for attending the wedding. All external guests must be reported by the couple to their wedding coordinator well in advance to be let in. Wedding coordinator must know complete names of all guests, dates and times. Surprise visitors will not be permitted access to the resort without consent from the wedding coordinator. If an external guest stays later than advised without previous notice, the wedding couple will be responsible for their expenses. Please let the couple know if you anticipate booking your stay at a different resort.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Because of limited venue space, the couple unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. The couple hopes you understand their decision.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Even the best parents need a break sometimes! Take yours at the couples ceremony and reception, which has been planned with an adults-only crowd in mind. Unfortunately, Secrets Vallarta Bay Puerto Vallarta is an adults-only resort. No one under 18 years will be allowed in the premises. However, their sister resort, Dreams Vallarta Bay, is kid friendly and walking distance from Secrets. Please note that Secrets Vallarta Bay guests have free access to Dreams Vallarta Bay throughout their stay; however, Dreams Vallarta Bay guests cannot access to Secrets Vallarta Bay facilities or services during their stay, unless they purchase a day pass.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The couple recommends all guests book their stay at Secrets Vallarta Bay to avoid external guest fees on the day of the wedding. The couple has also secured a room block directly with the hotel. As of May 2025 the room block is full. If you would like to be added to the waitlist pending room cancellations please text the couple directly.

Answer

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we can accommodate special food requests. If this was not noted on your RSVP please contact the couple directly.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

If you have decided to book at a different hotel Secrets Vallarta Bay does not offer transportation services but you may contact AMSTAR DMC they may offer this service. You may reach out to them at sol.contreras@amstardmc.com and fernando.celisrosales@amstardmc.com.

Do you have a Registry?

Answer

Having lived on their own for the past few years, the couple has amassed everything they need for their home. As such, they request no boxed gifts. Ultimately, your presence is the greatest gift but if you wish to contribute to the couples honeymoon fund feel free to do so by selecting the "registry" tab.

Please let the couple know immediately if you are booking your stay at a different resort/hotel. You must be added to the external guest list beforehand in order to attend the wedding. Please note there is an external guest fee of $175.00 that must be paid on the wedding day per person. Additionally, have your ID ready upon arriving on the wedding day in order to be granted entry into the resort.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the wedding is set to take place outdoors on the beach. There will be a shoe station available.
