Maid of Honor
Mary and Mackenzie met in college at ETBU. They have lived in separate states almost their entire friendship, but it has never stopped them from being consistent in each others lives. People have come and gone out of Mackenzie’s life, but for some reason she never left. Mary’s friendship is one of the greatest gifts Mackenzie has ever received. She knows her to her core. She knows what makes her smile and what ticks her off. She can tell in an instant when she is upset and then continue to do everything in her power to make Mackenzie feel better. When her confidence lags, she reassures her of herself. She understands Mackenzie’s odd sense of humor, her love for sarcasm, and joins in on her terrible singing skills. She is Mackenzie’s sister, forever and always.
Bridesmaid
Keila and Mackenzie lived right next door to each other for almost an entire semester at ETBU before they actually met! She keeps Mackenzie grounded in her faith, and teaches her on a daily basis what it means to walk with The Lord. Despite their distance, their friendship has remained strong, and she is so thankful for the things she has learned because of it. Above all else, the distance between them has taught her that their friendship is something to cherish and be proud of. She fills Mackenzie’s life with an immense amount of happiness and love and she knows that wherever life takes them, Keila will always be apart of it.
Bridesmaid
Les always told Mackenzie when they first started dating that Lauren was the one she had to win over first. Mackenzie has never met someone as strong willed, confident, loving, and crazy (in a good way) as Lauren. She has made her a better, more confident, and spontaneous individual. They met over 2 years ago, and Mackenzie’s life has definitely changed. It's funny how she feels like she has known Lauren her whole life. Mackenzie can't imagine where she would be without her today.
Bridesmaid
Les introduced Mackenzie to Chelsea shortly after they first started dating. The genuineness of their friendship is so hard to come by these days, and therefore, she is so blessed to have found Chelsea. Although it has only been a few years, Mackenzie can't thank her enough for walking into her life like she had been there all along. Chelsea is one of a kind. A shoulder to lean on, and a safe place. She can definitely be tough, but her heart melts for the people she loves most. Mackenzie is so thankful that she is in her life!
Bridesmaid
Les introduced Mackenzie to Katie shortly after they started dating. Mackenzie truly believes that God puts people in her life for a specific reason and at just the right time. For her, that's Katie. Her favorite part about their friendship is that Katie makes her laugh SO MUCH and that she is allowed to be 100% herself around Katie. Katie loves with her whole heart and she takes such good care of the people who matter most to her. Mackenzie can say that she wishes Katie came into her life sooner, but she came at the perfect time. And let's face it, Les and Chris will never part ways, so they are stuck together whether they like it or not! ;)
Bridesmaid
Mackenzie met Sarah through Lauren and Jeff. They all attended Tech together and she is so thankful they decided to share her!! In their short time as friends, Mackenzie has found so many new appreciations and perspectives on life because of Sarah and she is so glad someone was able to open those doors for her. Although it hasn't been very long, Mackenzie finds comfort in knowing she can talk to Sarah about anything. Finding someone who has the same desires in life and can completely be herself around has been something so important to Mackenzie, and she is so glad Sarah could be that person for her.
Best Man
Les and Chris have known each other since elementary school, but 6th grade band is where it all started. They became inseparable. Over the past 18 years their friendship still remains just as strong as when it first started. Chris lived very close to the Moreno family and was always invited to the family events. He essentially became apart of the family with him affectionately being called "Oso" which is "bear" in spanish. (Bear was a nickname he went by to his close friends.) From all the late night Taco Bell runs, staying up late playing video games and attempting to rap, Lesmes and Chris have shared many great memories and look forward to making many more.
Groomsman
Lester is the younger brother of Lesmes, can't you tell? From performing wrestling moves on each other to family vacations to Puerto Rico to playing Playstation way past their bedtime, they've had some of the best times as brothers. As they've gotten older, Lesmes has learned a lot from him, whether that be his spontaneity, his drive to be successful or simply his all around desire to bring joy to the people around him. He may live way on the East coast but the bond they have as brothers will never be broken. Lesmes is honored to have his little brother stand beside him on his big day.
Groomsman
Lesmes has known Jeff for the last 7 years. From the moment they met they bonded over their love for sports and anything athletic. Do not let his 6'5'' frame fool you, he has the kindest heart and is the most patient person Les has ever met. His willingness to help people he loves speaks volumes. For a brief 6 months, Lesmes and Jeff lived together and the many laughs and late nights playing Madden or FIFA will always be something Lesmes will cherish.
Groomsman
Lesmes met Jacob 7 years ago when he respectfully asked Chelsea, his now wife, to dance. That story can be told another day! From that day forward they became the best of friends. They always enjoyed the chance to gloat about being great at throwing darts as a team. They also enjoyed annoying the rest of the bridal party with their, in their words, annoying handshake. Jacob's sense of humor and caring personality was a trait that always impressed Lesmes and are some of the reasons why he chose him to be a groomsman.
Groomsman
Ryan and Lesmes have also know each other for the last 18+ years. Just like Chris, they started their friendship in band class. Ryan's sarcastic humor but also giving and sincere heart, has been something Lesmes always appreciated. Many memories have been made with Ryan whether it be the Halloween parties he would have at his house or the many trips the band took for football games.
Groomsman
Justin and Lesmes also met 18 years ago in the same band class with both Chris and Ryan. Justin moved away before the 10th grade, but they were able to pick back up where they left off when they reconnected in Dallas. Justin has always been a loyal friend to Lesmes and has shared many great memories when they were roommates and coworkers.
Officiant
Marc has been a constant source of encouragement for Les and Mackenzie since their beginning! Being the father of Bridesmaid, Lauren Thompson, he has always been a good example of what a loving father and husband looks like. Les and Mackenzie knew he would be a great fit to marry them very early on in their engagement.
Flower Girl
Ring Bearer
Flower Girl
Usher
Andrew (also known as Cheese) has been a great friend to Les and Mackenzie since the beginning! He is always one to make everyone laugh and knows how to have a good time. They are so excited to have him as an Usher for their big day!
