If you are flying, plan to fly into Portland International Airport (PDX).
Vancouver is on the Washington side of the Columbia river, about 15min drive from Portland. There is currently no toll to drive over the I-205 bridge, so staying in Portland is an option if you would prefer to enjoy the city.
