My older sister & best friend <3 (She is married but she is not a "matron," ew.) Andrea has been such a huge source of guidance, fun, love, & support literally my entire life. She even liked me during my most awkward & weird phases -- which, let's be honest, the weirdness now is more just "under control" than really "over" -- and she always let me hang out with her & her friends, probably in the hopes that I'd learn to be cooler. I'm so glad I moved to Atlanta in 2011, because it has meant that we have been able to live as close as 1.7 miles apart, experience major life milestones together, go on road trips & to local festivals together, and grow closer & closer together over the years. No matter where I go from here, I'm so happy we've been able to have all this time together!

A Six Chick with a contagious laugh. Lizzie's enthusiasm is endless. She has all of the great qualities of the other six chicks, just dialed up a couple notches. She is incredibly passionate, artistic, caring, loyal, hilarious, & weird. She is fully & unapologetically herself at all times, which is a quality of hers I have always admired. - The Six Chicks formed in approximately 2002 at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church in Dallas, TX. We started as just a bunch of 8th grader chorus members in "Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" and playing Risk for hours on end & fighting over Alberta for no real reason, we lasted through 6 different high schools & 6 different colleges, and we have endured all the way to now. When the wedding happens we will all be 30. And one of us is a mom!

The alien to my dinosaur, the night cheese to my Liz Lemon. Rachel & I met at Austin College during our freshman year (07-08). We pledged the same happy goofy sorority the same year, sang together in the A Cappella Choir (she has one of the most beautiful voices of all time and I shouldn't have even been allowed to stand next to her, TBH), and were Young Adult Volunteers the same year (she in India, I in Atlanta). We share a boundless, twisted, and inexplicable sense of humor, and are unmatched in our ability to make extremely ugly faces. I don't know exactly when we realized we were soulmates, but we are & that's that.

A Six Chick with a radiant soul. We were always telling Emmaline to leave her hair curly & to stop spending so much quality time with her family, gosh darnit, we're having a slumber party ;) She is a wonderful sister & mother, a fantastic listener & giver of advice, a lover of babies, & a passionate, inspiring, intelligent woman. - The Six Chicks formed in approximately 2002 at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church in Dallas, TX. Natalie Taylor

Soon-to-be PhD & future co-owner of the Palace Brewing Co microbrewery + dog park ;) Natalie lived across the hall from me in our freshman year dorm, and she would listen for the sound of my very creaky door to know when I was coming home or going to the bathroom and she would come talk to me, which I think is the cutest thing ever. We became fast friends, bonding over pints of Ben & Jerry's Cinnamon Buns ice cream and playlists about bitterness. She is a major reason why I loved college so much. We started homebrewing together during our senior year, and it was during a cross-country road trip that we visited the Moab Microbrewery (and Arches National Park!) and hatched our plans to open our own brewery some day.

A Six Chick with a passionate spirit. Kathryn and I have had countless sleepovers, spent untold hours watching & singing to musicals, poorly re-enacted SYTYCD dance routines, and driven many road trip hours together. Her family has been like a second home to me for years. She is hilarious, fun-loving, thoughtful, strong, and loyal. - The Six Chicks formed in approximately 2002 at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church in Dallas, TX. A Six Chick with a creative mind. Tracy's house was basically Six Chicks headquarters. I would love to know how many hours we spent flailing around there, having slumber parties, making music videos, driving around the neighborhood "looking for boys" (??) & laughing. A Six Chick with a beautiful heart. Carla will always be the gorgeous one. Yeah, we're all beautiful, but we have always accepted that Carlita Bonita is on another level.
