In June 2018, Brandon and Leslie met for the first time at one of their hometown bars. Over the next few months they’d see each other out with friends and casually chat for a little. In August 2018, on a night at one of the bars Leslie asked Brandon “When are you going to ask me to hang out?!” Brandon responded with “I was just talking to my cousin about that, are you free tomorrow?!” The next day they spent all day out on his boat and grabbed some dinner. Ever since they spent the next few months hanging out and getting to know each other more. In November 2018, Leslie introduced Brandon to her family. Brandon finally asked Leslie to be his girlfriend that November. In May 2019, Brandon and Leslie adopted a dog named Sansa. In August 2019, Brandon and Leslie moved into their first place together in Mechanicsville, MD. In November 2020, Brandon and Leslie became homeowners in Wildewood. In the same month, Leslie and Brandon went to Reno for Thanksgiving with her whole family. Little did Leslie know this trip would forever change her life! On Thanksgiving day, Brandon proposed to Leslie during a ‘game night’ surrounded by her family. She could not have pictured a more perfect engagement. It was so special for Leslie since all of her brother’s live on the West Coast, so it’s a little rare for all of them to be together at the same time. Once Leslie and Brandon came home from vacation, they started to look at venues and decided to have a two year engagement due to the Coronavirus and they wanted to have ample time to plan for one of the biggest days of their lives! August 2021, Leslie felt a little more tired than normal (one of her favorite hobbies is sleeping) so she decided to take a pregnancy test. Well, this was a BIG surprise to Leslie and Brandon that the test came back POSITIVE! They were so excited for this next chapter in their lives. Baby and wedding in the same year!! Their sweet baby girl is due April 2022, just about five months before their wedding day!
