If you've got any burning questions that we just haven't answered below, feel free to contact us at kintnerbrown@gmail.com!
Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place at La Banque at Seaplane Base in Havre de Grace, Maryland.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Seating is from 2:30-2:55 pm for a 3:00 pm ceremony time. There will be no late seating due to logistical needs and the brides entrance. Your promptness will guarantee you won’t miss the ceremony and our first kiss!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We want you to get fancy with us! You can wear anything from cocktail to formal attire. Please no jeans and sneakers. Cocktail dresses, long dresses, rompers, jumpsuits, slacks, trousers, suits, tux, dress shirt (short or long sleeve is fine), dress shoes, etc. The ceremony will be outdoors in grass, in case that affects your shoe choice. Do plan to check the weather close to the date to see if you may want a sweater or jacket!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors overlooking the water and the reception will be under a tent just behind the ceremony location. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will also be under the tent.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. Those with a plus one will also see this in the RSVP and be able to indicate their meal selection.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love all of our family and friends’ children, we can only accommodate children who are in the wedding party. We hope that you will understand this decision and we very much hope you will still be able to join us on our special day.

Question

Are you doing any traditional things leading up to the wedding (i.e. Bachelorette festivities or Bridal Shower)?

Answer

While we love our friends and family, we have been reflecting on the time, effort, and resources it will take for you to join us on the big day. Together, we have decided your presence as we say “I do” is our focus and we have respectfully asked our bridal parties to forgo any pre-wedding celebrations

Question

Do I need to mail back my RSVP or may I do it online? When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

You won’t be mailing anything back to us - instead you’ll use the “RSVP” page on our website. It’s so much quicker, you can easily update your response if something changes! If you’ve never used a website to RSVP before, info on how to RSVP will be included with your invitation. We kindly request your response by September 1.

Question

Do I have to RSVP even if I’m unable to attend?

Answer

We wish you could make it and are sure our big day won’t be the same without you! We please ask that you still RSVP, even if the answer is unfortunately a no. This is to save us from hunting you down to make sure the invite didn’t just get lost in the mail!

Question

What should I do if my plans change after I’ve RSVP’d?

Answer

If your plans change prior to the RSVP deadline, you may easily update your choices using the RSVP page. If your plans change AFTER the RSVP deadline of September 1, please let a bride know as soon as possible! There are specific deadlines with some vendors, so accurate headcounts are important; however, we understand that plans change last minute sometimes.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

A parking lot is available nearby. For family and friends who require an accessible drop off point, please reach out. There is a short walk to our picturesque venue.

Question

Will there be any vegetarian/gluten free/special dietary options?

Answer

Our menu will include gluten free and dairy free options for each course. If you have other specific dietary restrictions, please reach out to the brides as soon as you know you’ll be attending! Please note that there will also be space to indicate any restrictions when RSVPing

Question

Can I take and share photos or videos at your wedding?

Answer

We'd like to see all of your beautiful faces and for you to witness our love without the distraction of devices during our ceremony! We ask that you please keep all cell phones and cameras turned off or put away during the ceremony portion of our big day. We've hired a wonderful team to capture all of our special moments and we promise to share them with you! During the reception, feel free to take all the photos and videos you would like as long as you don't get in the way of the professionals during moments such as the first dance and parent dances. If there's any photos or videos you'd like to share, please remember to use #KBKindOfLove on all socials so we can find them after our big day!

Question

What last name are you taking?

Answer

After much thought and consideration, we are excited to share that we are blending our lives and taking each others names. We will become Mrs. & Mrs. Kintner Brown.
