Question

What is the deadline to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by January 1st, 2025 so we can prepare everything for your visit to Bali!

Question

When should I arrive in Bali?

Answer

Please make your travel plans to arrive at the latest by Thursday, June 5th before the wedding festivities. We recommend coming a few days earlier to recover from jetlag and get the opportunity to explore Bali!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We've put together some outfit inspiration if you're having trouble deciding what to wear: https://pin.it/6dnjuCC4z - Haldi & Mehndi: Semi-Casual Indian / Western -- think sunny dresses, bright button-downs, or Indian casual like salwar kameez or lehengas for women, and kurtas for men. - Hindu Ceremony & Reception: Indian or Indo-Western formal -- ladies you're welcome to wear lehengas or sarees, but note the former is much easier if its your first time! Gents, feel free to opt for sherwanis, traditional or Indo-Western style kurtas paired with Nehru jackets. - Vow Exchange Ceremony and Reception: Tropical Semi-formal -- our Pinterest board has a few examples of tropical colored dresses, and cotton or linen fabric suits are great choices for Bali's weather!

Question

Where can I buy Indian clothes?

Answer

We suggest exploring these stores which ship worldwide: Manyavar: https://www.manyavar.com/ Kalki: https://www.kalkifashion.com/ Aza: https://www.azafashions.com/ Fab India: https://www.fabindia.com/ Please don't hesitate to reach out to Keshav or Leslie if you have any questions or need additional help with outfits.

Question

Is there transportation to / from the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will provide shuttles at the Radisson Blu Resort and the family villas to/from the venue (Wonderland). Shuttle times are listed on the "Schedule" page. If you miss these shuttles or the pickup point is not easy for you to get to, we recommend using Grab or Gojek (similar to Uber). Bali traffic is notorious for taking longer than expected, so please buffer in more time than Google Maps estimates!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We are pleased to host our family and family friends and have arranged for their accommodation. We have also curated a list of villas and a discounted hotel rate at the Radisson Blu Resort for our friends. Please refer to the "Travel" page for more details.

Question

What is the weather in Bali?

Answer

Bali has a warm, tropical climate all year round, with June typically being dry season. The average temperature in June is around 26°C (80°F), with highs reaching up to 30°C (86°F) and lows around 22°C (72°F). Don't forget to pack your sunglasses and sunscreen!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events will be outdoors so we will have canopies/parasols and hand fans, but don't forget to pack sunscreen and sunglasses!

Question

Should I bring cash?

Answer

Most hotels, restaurants, and ridesharing apps accept major credit cards like VISA and Mastercard, but smaller shops and drivers accept only cash, so it's recommended that you bring at least some cash to exchange at the airport.

Question

Should I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence in Bali is the best gift we could ask for! No additional gifts are expected or necessary. But if you're keen on kickstarting our happily ever after, you're welcome to send us a cash gift via our Registry or message us privately. Because we'll be traveling for the wedding as well, we respectfully ask that no physical gifts larger than a small card be brought to the wedding weekend.

Question

Where can I get a local SIM card?

Answer

We recommend using an e-SIM provider like Airalo.com

Question

Where else should I visit in Asia?

Answer

Bali is in the heart of Indonesia and Southeast Asia and there are many options of countries and cities we love to visit. We recommend looking based on the airline that you plan to take to Bali, where you may be able to make an easy layover or stay a few extra days in a specific city. Many airlines from the US fly through Singapore, Taipei, Bangkok, Seoul, or Hong Kong which are all great stops to make along the way to add in some sightseeing!

For all the days along the way
