Matron of Honor
Ashley's favorite sister, they have shared a bedroom, memories, and countless articles of clothing. Although by that, we mean that Ashley stole Meredith's clothes and sometimes lent them to her friends before Meredith even had the chance to wear them. Sharing is caring, after all.
Best Man
A young Chris asked his parents for a brother...and then he got Dylan. Can't win 'em all. However, it should be noted that Dylan will debate who is the most annoying brother in the relationship. Many years were spent together with their family at the Jersey shore (no, not the little town in PA). When Dylan moved to St. Louis for grad school, Chris even came to visit a couple times, though the delicious barbecue may have something to do with it. Dylan is happy to finally be back home, and Chris is excited to have him as his best man.
Bridesmaid
Ashley and Steph became friends in junior high, but lost touch through college until they reconnected later over a Christmas break, and discussed their love for travel. They randomly planned a trip to Hawaii, and Steph loved it so much that she eventually became one of the lucky few to live in paradise. They have since adopted an annual tradition of jetting off to somewhere new and exciting, enjoying the sights and sounds of the world. Despite the thousands of miles that separate them, they make a point to stay connected regularly.
Groomsman
Justin is the quintessential mad scientist, ever since high school where he and Chris met. The only thing holding him back from world domination is not an absence of ambition, simply a lack of resources. Like many men of their kind, these fellas enjoy the finer things in life, good beer and bow ties among them.
Bridesmaid
Ashley has known Danielle since elementary school, when she would ride her bike down Park Avenue, and Danielle would always seem to be playing or riding her own bike in the driveway. Throughout junior high and beyond, they cheered together and spent many nights sleeping over at each other's houses. They went to college and worked at Ruby Tuesday together (seriously, almost everyone did) and Ashley takes credit for encouraging Danielle to date who would become her husband. Ashley was even present at the birth of one of Danielle's wonderful children!
Groomsman
Coworkers by chance, drinking buddies by choice, John introduced Chris to the glory of craft beer. They are both pharmacists in the ICU and may be responsible for saving dozens of lives (and if not, they're taking credit for it anyway).
Bridesmaid
The Ashleys were in cheerleading together in high school but didn't truly become close friends until college. Since then, they have lived together, laughed together and traveled together. Their adventures include Italy, Greece, and Mexico, along with numerous other domestic adventures.
Groomsman
Dustin has enough siblings, and although he won't admit it, he actually enjoys having another brother. Chris and Dustin share an inappropriate and irreverent sense of humor, and both like Ashleys, but thankfully not the same one.
Bridesmaid
Ashley and Amanda became friends in junior high, and her home and family became like a second for Ashley. They continued their friendship through high school and college, cheerleading together and becoming members of student council and other groups. During college, they worked at the same place (guess where?) and had the same major and classes, so the adventures of course continued. Ashley enjoys Amanda's persistently positive outlook on life and her honesty.
Groomsman
Lance takes a special sort of pride in messing with Ashley, and has graciously accepted Chris into the family with the same brand of brotherly love. He is the older brother that Chris questions whether he wanted, but is definitely happy to have.
Bridesmaid
Ashley and Lindsay became friends in high school, when their previously separate schools merged. Because it seems like there is nowhere else to work in Lock Haven, they worked together at Ruby Tuesday and branched out with that by expertise bar tending at several weddings and parties. They also lived together for a while, and Lindsay experienced the true, unbridled horror that is seeing Ashley in the morning before her coffee.
Groomsman
Mike and Chris bonded early in college over their equally long and regrettable hairstyles. Years later, the locks are shorn but the friendship remains. They lived together for a while on the hardscrabble streets of West Philadelphia, learning how to sell drugs legally. Occasionally they could be found breaking out into song, including a terribly off-key rendition of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" that may or may not have been responsible for the forfeit of their security deposit.
Bridesmaid
Ashley and Chelsi became good friends in college as well, where they shared the same undergraduate major. Like many of Ashley's friends (and bridesmaids!), they also worked at Ruby Tuesday together. Chelsi is always open to new adventures in travel and life in general.
Groomsman
Someone said recently that Cole is a younger version of Chris...the groom would use the word "inferior", but hey. Potato potahto, right? Despite the age difference of eleven years, Cole and Chris bonded in large part over sports, though Cole, and Dylan for that matter, definitely inherited the athletic genes. Chris has gone from changing Cole's diapers, to attending countless AYSO soccer games, to watching him get his high school diploma and set off for college. Cole has Chris to thank for setting an example on time management for school (i.e. don't wait until the last minute to study) and for steering him away from a mind-numbing science major.
Bridesmaid
Ashley and Caitlin also became early friends, back in junior high. They both share a love for culture and travel, particularly the many European countries and all they have to offer. Recently, they traveled to sunny Oahu, Hawaii, graciously letting Chris tag along as a third wheel.
Groomsman
Brent and Chris have been friends since high school, and shared many misadventures of mayhem and debauchery through the years. Age has added a few grays here and there, perhaps a bit of wisdom, but certainly not an ounce of responsibility if the situation calls for a bit of troublemaking.
Bridesmaid
Ashley first met Lauren in junior high. They spent many summers on the banks of the Susquehanna River, where their families owned neighboring property, and at first Ashley thought Lauren was a mermaid because of her long, lustrous locks and strikingly colored contacts. It has since been confirmed that Lauren dwells on land, and she has moved to the mountainous terrain of Colorado. Before that, she and Ashley attended college and worked together (if you can't guess where, you haven't been paying attention). They also share a passion for personal growth, exploring the world and all it has to offer.
Groomsman
Cody will tell you straight up that he and Chris are an odd couple; they don't always agree on politics, beer, or style...in fact, they never do. But as the song goes, opposites attract, and their friendship is unshakable. It's probably because they agree on the important things: the Zen artistry of fishing, and the fact that Psych is the funniest damn show on television.
Flower Girl
Ella may be the oldest (and tallest!) flower girl in history, but it has always been her dream and we could not say no. We couldn't be more thrilled to have Ashley's only niece be a part of our special day!
Ring Bearer
Ashley's seven-year old nephews are one month apart, and we are excited to see them all dressed up and enjoying our day with us. However, we acknowledge that it will take a stroke of divine intervention to keep them on task and get the rings to us without an argument, race to the finish, or maybe a few tears.
