Things To Do

While you're here, we'd like to share some of our favorite places to go in our city and the surrounding area. We'll add more as we think of them but we hope you can use these as a starting point for your adventures!

The Sawhorse Cafe

303 Washington Boulevard, Williamsport, PA 17701
, (570) 666-3803

A great cafe serving locally-sourced food and their own fresh-brewed coffee. It's at the forefront of the Williamsport hipster movement, but with omelettes and french toast this good, no one's arguing.

The Brickyard Restaurant & Ale House

343 Pine Street, Williamsport, PA 17701
, (570) 322-3339

This is unofficially the most popular watering hole downtown. Delicious food, great tap selection, and outdoor seating in a cozy alleyway just off the main streets. They often host live music as well, so you may get lucky and catch a show. Best of all, it's within a few minutes walking distance of our hotel and all the others so feel free to eat, drink and be merry to your heart's content. Just next door is the Stonehouse Pizzeria, managed by the same group and also offering excellent food and beer with a sit-down dinner atmosphere if you'd prefer.

Alabaster Coffee Roaster & Tea Company

Alabaster Coffee Roaster & Tea Company

400 Pine Street, Williamsport, PA 17701
, (570) 478-0043

Neck-and-neck with Sawhorse for the Williamsport hipster award, their coffee may just be the best in the city. From cold brew to lattes, you'll find a great pick-me-up for your drive home or just whenever you need to recharge your batteries. Chris specifically recommends the Nutella latte. Don't ask about the nutrition information. Just order one, take a sip, and let it change your life.

Acme Barbecue & Catering Co

445 Market Street, Williamsport, PA 17701
, (570) 327-9009

The best barbecue in Williamsport! The meat is prepared in a way that tastes good by itself, but the sauces are too amazing to pass up. Pulled pork, brisket, burnt ends...pick your poison and dig in. If you're like Chris, you'll have a hard time controlling yourself so you don't get the infamous "meat sweats".

Moon & Raven Public House

155 West 4th Street, Williamsport, PA 17701
, (570) 651-9441

Like the Brickyard, this is another fun hangout downtown, and close enough that you don't have to settle for one place! You can't go wrong with the menu, as with their English pub theme it's sure to fill you up. Of particular note, the meat and cheese plate wins the award for best name: "Viking Battle Snacks" (followed closely by their Cuban sandwich, "Kaiser Söze"). Save some room for a beer - the tap list is among the most expansive in the city, and pillaging villages is thirsty work.

Bullfrog Brewery

Bullfrog Brewery

229 West 4th Street, Williamsport, PA 17701
, (570) 326-4700

As craft breweries go in Williamsport, this used to be the only place in town. While recent years have brought some friendly competition, the Bullfrog has endured and still reigns supreme. The Edgar IPA is a local favorite, but if hops aren't your thing, you're sure to find a beer to your liking with a wide variety of styles on tap. Even if you don't dig beer (like the lovely blushing bride), you don't have to sit in the corner and pout! Multiple ciders rotate through their taps and are just as delicious. The food is top-notch and locally sourced, meaning it's extra hipster and extra tasty.

The Sticky Elbow

631 Washington Boulevard, Williamsport, PA 17701

Fortunately, the food here is a lot more appetizing than the name suggests! It's an adventurous menu, to be sure, but you'll find something delicious. Burgers, wings, sushi, and steaks are just some of the treats available for your eating pleasure.
