For our out-of town guests, below is information about getting to Rio. As of writing this, Brazil is requiring a negative COVID test for anyone entering. We will keep this page updated with any changes. US Citizens do not need a visa to travel to Brazil.

Flight

Airport Recommendations

Most of the major airlines have flights to Rio's international airport (GIG) or São Paulo's international airport (GRU). If you're unable to find a direct flight to Rio, São Paulo has plenty of connecting flights all day into GIG or Rio's regional airport (SDU).

Hotel

Hotel

We are working on acquiring a hotel block for our guests. Stay tuned for more information! If you prefer to search for an Airbnb or vacation rental, we recommend staying in the Zona Sul region, specifically the Leblon, Ipanema, or Copacabana neighborhoods. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Travel Note

Transportation

A rental car is not necessary to get around Rio. Public transportation, Ubers, and taxis are all reliable modes of transportation making it easy to get around. For the wedding, a shuttle service will be offered to get to and from the ceremony/reception. More details to come!
