Corcovado - Cristo Redentor
You can't come to Rio without seeing the famous Christ the Redeemer statue! Tickets for the train and admission are required along with making a reservation for the day you plan to visit.
Sugarloaf Mountain
Another must-see sightseeing spot in Rio that gives some of our favorite views of the city. Tickets are also required for the gondola ride all the way to the top, but there are hiking trails around the mountains as well. The Claudio Coutinho trail starting at the base of the mountain has easy trails along with a more strenuous hike depending on how far you want to go.
Ipanema Beach
Rio is famous for its beaches. Copacabana is the most popular, but check out Ipanema if you want less crowds.
Arpoador
One of the most beautiful sunsets in the Zona Sul can be seen from Arpoador at the end of Ipanema Beach
Feijoada
