From Marlborough, it’s a 4.5 hour drive straight-through (and it’s a super easy drive!) But if you’re like us and stop of every single rest stop, give yourself 5 hours to get up here. Nearest airports are Bar Harbor, Bangor (1 hour drive) and Portland (~3 hour drive).
Welcome party: cocktail Wedding: semi-formal Terramor: bug spray, bathing suit, flashlight Acadia: hiking boots, water bottle, backpack
For the welcome party - cocktail attire is great. For the wedding festivities, semi-formal attire is requested. For those wearing suits, a jacket is not required. For those wearing dresses, they can be long or short. **For those wearing heels, remember that we are GLAMPING - wear flats, block or chunky heels. Or Vans…
If the weather allows, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside. Regardless of the weather, we have a tent for the reception. For the after party we’ll have use of the indoor lodge and fire pits.
Friends of Ollie and Glinda are welcome! Terramor is pet-friendly, so let them know if you plan to your bring pup when you call to reserve your tent and they’ll let you know their pet policies.
The entire wedding weekend will take place at Terramor Outdoor Resort in Bar Harbor, Maine. We’ve rented out the entire resort and we’ll all stay together in 2 or 4-5 person luxury tents and the site requires that all wedding guests stay at Terramor. Please let us know if you have a preference of a 2 or 4-5 person tent and we’ll do our best to accommodate!
You will be pleasantly surprised! The tents are on a raised wood platform, have heating, an overhead fan, running water, electricity, toilet and shower, etc. This is true glamping (glamorous camping).
Please book your room/tent at Terramor Outdoor Resort by April 15, 2024. You can call Terramor directly to book and leave a message if they don’t answer. We’ll be assigning your tent location and be sure to have you near friends.
Yes! Kids are welcome to join us for our wedding weekend. Bring your baby monitors and other baby/child equipment and enjoy the partay while your little one is cozy in their tent.
YES! We’ve planned this weekend so you’ll have time to explore our favorite place. If you’d like to extend your weekend, you can arrive a day early or stay a day late (or more than a day…) On Sunday before the ceremony, you’ll have the whole day to explore. On Monday, do a quick hike or romp around downtown before you venture back home.
