FAQs

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask us! :)
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Plan on arriving about around 3:45pm. There is parking immediately outside the ceremony site. We will begin promptly at 4pm.

Question

How cold will it be?

Answer

The average daily high in Canmore on December 3rd is -4C, or about 24F. We promise to keep it short and do our best to keep you warm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi formal or formal: Come in shirt and tie or a tux, cocktail dress or a gown, whatever feels right for you. You will need winter outerwear for the ceremony, plan on bringing warm layers! There will be space at the reception for boots, jackets, etc.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to venue space limitations, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Let us know at least three weeks before the wedding and we will pass any dietary restrictions on to our catering staff!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is available right outside the ceremony site. The reception is just steps away, so no need to drive between the two. There is also a shuttle from the reception to locations in Canmore if you don't feel comfortable driving back at night. Vehicles may be left in the Stewart Creek parking lot overnight.

Question

What if the weather is terrible?

Answer

We do have an indoor backup plan available if it is too cold or snowy to hold the ceremony outdoors.
