Yes, all guest must pay for their own way to our wedding, unless explicitly told otherwise. We want everyone we love to be there, but understand if you cannot make it due to cost. We will be having a local reception after the wedding if you cannot attend our ceremony in Oregon.
We love your kids, we really do. But we want this to be as intimate as possible and to be a trip for YOU as well. We'd appreciate if kids did not come to the ceremony and wedding unless explicitly told otherwise. Kids will be welcome at the local reception.
We will not be allowing guests to bring plus ones as we want to keep this as intimate as possible and with family only. Your RSVP will name out the guests invited, please reach out to us directly with any questions or concerns regarding plus ones.
The ceremony location will be in the Oswald State Park in Arch Cape Oregon, the turn off and beach area is called Hug Point. For our mini reception, we have rented a home 5 minutes away from the ceremony location. The address can be found in the schedule. We will kindly ask our guests to leave to their own hotels/homes after the reception.
Everyone will be responsible for booking their own hotels and homes for the wedding. Unfortunately we cannot afford to host or house everyone, as much as we wish we could. We will be hosting the mini wedding reception in our space, but we'll kindly ask our guests to leave after the events each night. If this is a reason you cannot make the event, we completely understand and we hope to see you at our local reception.
We want everyone to be comfortable and we ask that our guests wear wedding appropriate clothes. Party/formal attire is recommended. We are asking that no women wear black or dark green dresses or shirts, and that no men wear black or dark green from the waist up (ties in this color are okay), as those colors are reserved for the bride and groom. All guests may wear white as an alternative to black. Please no denim or shorts. Also, please bring comfortable shoes and a raincoat, there is a bit of a walk down to the beach and it's always very windy and cool on the Oregon coast!
