Hi Other Humans, Eric and Lennys met each other at work, almost 5 years ago. Lennys was interviewing that day and getting a tour of the office when she was first introduced to Eric. It wasn't love at first sight. In fact, Eric was on his way to the bathroom, baby wipes in hand, so you can imagine the interaction. However, they did remember each other when Lennys started working there a few weeks later. Lennys asked Eric if she could sit with him during lunch, and he agreed. After that, they started talking more and became good work friends. That didn’t last long. About a month later, Eric needed new shoes and invited Lennys to come shop with him. Needing some of her own, she was down. Lennys bought white converse, Eric bought black converse. They were inseparable after this. Eric and Lennys constantly hung out, ate dinners, went to the gym together, saw movies, and played chess. After about a month and a really really long hug, they finally got that twinkle and knew that they were starting to grow feelings for each other. Well, at least Lennys finally felt this way, Eric says he felt that way the day we met, but who really knows. . They finally started dating in May 2017 and fell for each other pretty quick. They went to concerts, movies, lagoon, dinner, lunch, you name it. Lennys even caved by watching Jazz games with Eric so he thought she was cool. Eric said I love you twice within 4 weeks of dating, so Lennys decided to take matters into her own hands and ask Eric to make things official in June 2017. Now, this point in history is still widely debated by many in the scientific community. Eric swears the roles were reversed because he was madly in love with her. Lennys also told Eric that she loved him that day. They continued to fall for each other while traveling, attending concerts and festivals, getting to know each other more and falling more and more in love.

They knew they would end up getting married pretty early on. Eric again, the progressive he was, told Lennys he wanted to marry her in November 2017, in the future of course. Well, it took 4 years, but they made it. But they have to be honest, those 4 years didn’t come without challenges. They both worked really hard to grow, communicate, and listen to one another. They had to know how to be open with one another. Now, they’ve built a lovely little family with their beautiful 3 year old cat, Mavis, their 5 month old kitten Norman, and 25 plants. What a life. They even just recently purchased a home. And in June of 2021, on the day of their 4 year anniversary, Eric popped the question while visiting Ruby Beach on vacation. It was a beautiful intimate moment, just as they had hoped it would be. As they start this new chapter in their lives, they are looking forward to many more concerts, road trips, dinners, holidays, together.
