Michael and Lenae met in college at a friend’s birthday party. One of Lenae’s best friends was dating Michael’s cousin and brought him along to a party Lenae was hosting. They didn’t interact much that night, but Lenae thought Michael was hilarious, and Michael thought she was cute. Fast forward to when Michael offered to help coach Lenae and her friends’ basketball team (who, to be honest, were not very good). That’s when Lenae knew he wasn’t just there for the basketball. Not long after, Michael asked for her number and invited her to lunch. That lunch went so well that they ended up talking for almost four hours til the shop closed. Soon after, Michael asked Lenae on their first official date. He showed up with flowers, opened the car door, and took her to a park for an afternoon of hiking, basically Lenae’s perfect Saturday! From that moment on, Michael has never stopped trying to make Lenae smile, and Lenae has never had a better adventure buddy.
