Enjoy Forsyth Park

This 30-acre park in Savannah’s Historic District is famous for its Spanish moss-draped oaks, walkable paths, and iconic fountain — a perfect spot for photos! Forsyth Park also has a café, visitor center, playgrounds, and a lively Saturday morning farmer’s market on the north end of the park (9 am - 1 pm).

Savannah City Market is full of local art, live music, the American Prohibition Museum, and great casual dining spots — something for everyone to enjoy! River Street is a must-see, with historic cobblestones, beautiful river views, and plenty of shops and restaurants to explore at your own pace.

Visit Tybee Island

Visit Tybee Island

Lena and Cam's favorite spot! About 25 minutes by car from downtown Savannah, Tybee Island is perfect for a morning or afternoon visit. Relax on the beach, explore the lighthouse, or rent bikes to ride around the island. For coffee and snacks, stop by Tybean, and for meals we love The Breakfast Club for classic dive-style breakfast, Sea Wolf for unique hot dogs and seafood, Zunzibar for casual drinks and sandwiches, and A-J’s Dockside for beachy, waterfront dining.

Eat and Drink at Our Favorite Spots

Eat and Drink at Our Favorite Spots

Savannah is full of amazing places to eat and drink, and we’ve picked a few of our favorites to share! We love Collins Quarter for the best brunch and unique coffee menu. Dinner options range from the cozy but upscale vibes of Cotton & Rye (our favorite restaurant in the city!), to the fresh Italian food at St. Bibiana, or the inventive, farm-to-table dishes at Common Thread. If you’re in the mood for casual pizza, Vinny Van GoGo's in City Market is a must. When it’s time for drinks, sip cocktails at the trendy Plant Riverside rooftop bars, take in the best city views from the Perry Lane Hotel's rooftop bar, Peregrin, or grab a casual drink at The Grove near City Market. A few blocks south, you can explore the food truck scene at Starland Yard. Whether you’re brunching, dining, or enjoying a fun afternoon out, Savannah has something for every mood!
