How do I get to downtown Savannah from The Westin?

The free Savannah Belles Ferry runs about every 10 minutes between the Westin and River Street downtown. Uber and Lyft are also quick and easy options.

Yes! Once you’re in the Historic District, everything is very walkable — restaurants, shops, parks, and sights are all just a few blocks apart.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will both take place outdoors, with the reception held under a tent to keep things cozy and comfortable. October evenings in Savannah are typically mild, with temperatures in the 60s–70s°F—perfect for celebrating together! As the sun sets, it can get a bit cooler, so we suggest bringing a light jacket or wrap just in case. Since everything will be on grass, ladies may want to choose shoes accordingly—think wedges, block heels, or flats for easy walking and dancing. Savannah nights are truly magical—whether you’re enjoying a stroll along the river or dancing the night away under the tent with us.
