Interestingly enough their first connection was via a Bumble match in the Montgomery and Prattville area in 2018. They both swiped right on each other and Lekesha (Kesha) made the first move by sending a message to Donald complimenting his smile. From there the conversation via Bumble became effortless for the two of them and they decided to finally meet in person. On Sunday, November 25th, 2018 they decided to have their first date. It didn't go as planned. The two drove around Montgomery, to three different restaurants before finding one that was open, a Japanese restaurant, Rock'n Roll Sushi. At the Sushi spot that night, Kesha spilled Miso soup on herself, and naturally, Donald felt guilty and decided not to eat either. So not only did they drive around for hours looking for a restaurant, they finally made it to a restaurant and still didn't eat. Yet, the uncomfortable scenario sparked a conversation, one in which the two realized that they found peace with each other, even in the least ideal situations. Little did they know that an unexpected night of romance would be the beginning of a lifetime of love.
