Matron of Honor
Katie and I met at a church retreat in the 8th grade, but it wasn't until we both decided to attend Liberty University that our friendship really took off. We decided to room on the same hall our freshman year of college and we have been inseparable ever since. From going through the highs and lows of nursing school together, to engagements, to just everyday life Katie has been there through it all and I am so blessed to be able to call her one of my best friends. Standing by her side at her wedding day was such a joy and I am the luckiest bride to have her return the favor as my matron of honor.
Maid of Honor
Kassidy and I have been friends practically since birth. Our moms met in our childhood neighborhood on a walk and they too are the best of friends. Fun fact about our moms: when we were really young our moms thought it would be so cute to take us to Picture People and dress us up in similar if not the exact. same. outfit. They still stand by their decision to this day and think they are the cutest pictures ever. Kassidy has been my friend through every stage of life, even those cringey middle school years, and yet she somehow stuck around. Her family is truly like my second family and there have been many situations in my life where I truly don't know what I would have done without them.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and I met our freshman year of college at Liberty. By our sophomore year, we decided to be roomies and have been roomies ever since. Rachel is the sweetest person you will ever meet and her strong foundation in the Lord shines in all that she does. God really knew what He was doing when he gave me a friend like Rachel and I am so excited to have her as a bridesmaid.
Bridesmaid
Meghan and I met through nursing school at Liberty and she is the sweetest friend I could ever ask for. I always say to know Meghan is to love her, there just is no other option. She truly exemplifies the Lord in everything she does, and is always there when I need her. This season of life has been so special for us because we were able to walk through this season of engagement together and it has been the sweetest gift!
Bridesmaid
Kasey is my cousin and friend all bundled into one! She is the sweetest, most loyal friend and always knows how to make me laugh. We bond on all things enneagram 6, the craziness of nursing school, and of course our family. I am so beyond blessed to have her as a bridesmaid for a day, but a friend for life.
Best Man
Marc and I decided to become roommates when we found out we were both going to Liberty. From then on we have become the closest of friends. Much of our time at Liberty has been spent together: from playing ping pong, soccer, and video games to working together. I could not ask for a better friend to stand next to me on such an important day.
Groomsman
John and I became good friends my freshman year of college, where he was apart of the leadership team on my hall. I have always admired and looked up to John because of His great faith and wisdom that he has. He and I also were able to bond the summer of 2019 when I decided to get into golfing. John who is an avid golfer gave me some lessons and we became much closer as a result.
Groomsman
John Spaide was one of my closest small-group leaders when I was in high school. With a busy schedule with sports and school, we would meet outside of the normal small group times to get a meal together. He helped mentor me and push me in my faith, and through this we became good friends, and would often go running together through my years in college. We have remained close throughout the many years I have know John and I look forward to having him there on such an important day in my life.
Groomsman
Henry is my only brother and the youngest sibling in our family, so from day one we were bound to be close. Despite a 5 year age difference, Henry and I have been really competitive with one another for as long as I can remember. As we grew up, this competitiveness has evolved and allowed me to provide wisdom and offer advice which has been a great honor. I can't wait to see how our brotherhood continues to grow as we get older.
