An outdoor wedding in the middle of the Maine winter is certainly not what we imagined, but when we started thinking about it, some of our most cherished memories involve dark winter nights, warm fires, "camping," food, and friends. And so, while it was not our first dream wedding scenario, or our second, or our fifteenth, we have come to love what this wedding is shaping up to be. Please join us on New Year's Eve to celebrate the end of this relentless year and the beginning of our marriage, as we host what the wedding industry has recently termed a “micro-wedding,” with 30-ish of our favorite, most-local loved ones. Our aim is to keep the event entirely outdoors, assisted by a robust assemblage of patio heaters, fire pits, and toe warmers. Given the peculiar constraints of the moment, we expect that some guests will engage in only a single activity while others will join us for two days of festivities. Whatever the case, we want to make this feel as comfortable and safe for everyone. Please let us know if there’s anything specific we can do to help with this.
